alarmbells ringing when they are forced to cut corners like this. where else did they have to cut corners. relying heavily on steam systems never seem to actually be a positive to me, it might be easier for the developers, but it never seems better for me as a user. although I don't mind one way or the other now, being steam only means I am not going to buy the game. too bad.

since this was bumped anyway eh not really. steam are extremely picky about which games from non-bigname publishers are released on there. you have to be a really successful developer already or have an already established and successful game to get on there, or they will flat out just deny your application. it's closer to how xbox live arcade operates, it's all marketing and pr crap controlled with carefully planned releasewindows and strategically filling out the different game genres. absolute bullshit

if it was typo or misunderstanding it was already removed from the article ... and now please (last polite demand) stop it discussing here as it's something what people in question and firms in question must resolve inbetween them ... so continue discussion about OFP:DR as game I know you guys seem to be finished discussing that eurogamer article, but a staffer left a comment for it "Hi guys. In response to feedback, we have clarified Clive Lindop's position and confirmed he was not part of the original Operation Flashpoint development team as we had been told. We've updated the article and regret the error."
