    Sir, With every change you are getting better and better. I was thrilled when I say your first release, and the improvements are better and better. I glad you are working with other indivduals to be able to load a SPEC OPs Buggy into on of these models and you made one for Armed Assault as well! Could you see it into your heart to make an USAF Pave Low version as well? Thanks!

    Rocket, Will do, when I get home from work. I hope you didn't mind, but I took your original version and made a few changes, nothing dramatic really it still has your name on it and it is just for my unit to play on. I increased the height of the C130 to 160meters, to keep it from crashing into the trees, but would suggest lower it a tad to about 120 to 90 meters. The Civilain population brings atmosphere to the map, and my lads will not fire on civilians. So it adds to what we call "Realism" to it, rules for war and all. I changed the starting load outs so the individuals would have a silence weapon loadout or a combination there of. More in line of what we think a SF strike team would elect to take with them on such a mission. We had a problem, and it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. We accomplished all the tasks, and secured the LZ but our Venom got shot down. In our opinion, it would be great if maybe the Venom does gets shot down on occasion (Randomly). So the team must shoot a Green Flare in the air, then hold out for say 5-6 minutes. Where upon the a Blackhawk and Venom with a Cobra escort come to save the day. Of course the rate at which the enemy respawns around the Extraction Area will need a bit larger time delay between waves and a clean up script I'm sure. One other ending I would suggest, needs to be hiddened of course, but near the town the CIA agent is located at is a Boat house. We thought about put some guards near there with a fishing boat. If the extraction goes badly, then the team could extract via the fishing boat to the LHD. What do you think?

    Rocket, I'm not sure how it is working on other servers, but on ours it's not doing what it is suppose to do. We don't get your voice acting, the helicopter remains at the first landing site, and we don't get the task menu either. We love the first version the only problem was the C-130 would fly into the trees or ground. I have left the AI on and off it didn't seem to make a difference, I have even restarted the server as well. All with no correction of the errors.
  9. Snake, In layman's terms what causes the brush to be floating? Is there a way to correct this?
  10. A while back I ran across a mission where the creator had an add action in the menu to "Turbo" or increase the speed of the CCR or RHIB. Does anyone know how to do this? Or remembers the name of that mission and it's location?

    Improved unit editor

    The editor needs improvement. Since the days of OFP, someone has provided a "Editor addon" to reveal all of the object present in the game, this should be standard fare. Additionally, objects such as the LHD should be a "one" piece unit, so an individual does not have to spend several hours trying to get it all lined up and placed right.

    Beta patches policy

    I do not see a problem with a patch called beta and I think BIS should continue with it's present method. I think there was only one mistake BIS made during this last release and that was no support for the Linux. That is only because 1.15 seemed to me to be a substantial release and therefore it would only seem prudent that this release would have included a Linux Version. Now as serveral people have noted, we as the public do not know the financial strenght/budget nor feedback given regarding 1.15. Only BIS can really make that determination, one can only hope that every so often and on the day that BIS will no longer support Armed Assault and moves to Armed Assault II that those in the Linux community along with us using a Window Server will both recieve the same server version. In my opinion there are more pressing issues with Armed Assault then if a patch is called Beta or not.

    Arma Error Report

    To All, I'm looking for the location of the Arma Error Log, on a Vista OS Desktop. Â I couldn't find it in the mission Cache and I don't see it in the root directory of it's installation. Â Does anyone know it's location and willing to share that information? I finally found it. The file names are (note the extenstion is capitalized): arma.RPT arma_server.RPT Location is: C:\users\yourname\AppData\Local The files are hidden so you search all hidden files and folders. Thank you all for your assistance.

    Great Miles, I have been working on a mission in Razani using your units. I have been able to master the cut scene stuff. When it sort of closer on being done, maybe I can ask you some things about multi-player cutscenes and such.

    These are some wonderful addons and are relatively new, so they are bound to have some teething trouble. I hope that Snakeman, JFK15 and Chris (Miles Teg) can help each other and get the bugs out of it. I so don't have the skill, and I wouldn't even try without Chris' Blessing to do so.

    I re-downloaded the addon and installed it again. Â I'm not a 100% but it looks like the problem lies when I put the .303 sniper Taliban unit on my map. Â Could you see if you get the problem?

    Miles, I understand about the females, it was merely and Idea. Â I have a problem with one of the missions I am making. Â When I try to run it on my personal box it states "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. lobo_weapons" I have made the addon visable by altering the ace_clientside_config.hpp so I'm confused. Â I don't see Lobo_weapons in the mission file either. Â "test_soldat" shows up in the mission file. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Â Thanks.

    Real Artillery 2 final

    @ o3oDeath I have install it and find it a great improvement. Â I really do like, and plan to use it in a upcoming mission for my unit. I love the Fire Control Center, the registration on/off feature. Â I very nice to see the range, elevation and other info of the round flight path. Â I was wondering if there could be a way to "Lock" a Battery together so you has the player fire one Arty Piece and the others in the batter would fire at the same time, on the same set of Coordinates? Maybe in the next update, if you every plan to do one it would be nice to have a few different rounds. Â But I till love this one. @ All others I do understand Chris feelings regarding the OFP COC UA Pack, it was indeed an awesome addon. Â But with time, I'm sure someone maybe even o3oDeath, may come up with that Holy Grail. Â Till then, I think this is the best out there.
