Couldn't agree more especially because I will only play the singleplayer campaign. Keeping my fingers crossed that either BIS can do something about it in the near future or the modding community.

In the UK version that I have with the 1.04 patch included I already see an option to choose different languages so that seems fixed already. I can understand somewhat the OP though, it should be debatable. Anyway, looking forward to the 1.05 patch myself because I don't see much difference in the 505 version than in the German one I downloaded first. Otherwise great game with huge potential but still needs fixing in different areas.

@Kode and Blanco Just called gamemania and made a reservation for tomorrow. Nothing is for certain yet, but probably they will get it by then. I would advise you to do the same because they told me they won't get many copies from the game and those they will get are under reservation for someone already. Just wanted to let you know. I checked all stores I know that sell games at Leuven: fnac, free record shop, hetcomputerwinkeltje, gamemania, maxworld, none have it :s, let's hope they get it before the week-end.... Just checked the site of gamemania again and they put a release date on it that says February 21. So just hang on a little longer and you'll get your hands on it soon if it doesn't change again

Sickboy I want to thank and praise you and your team for doing such a splendid job and the time you guys devoted to it I have downloaded the German version, installed the 1.02 patch and then your v0.9 one. Now my questions are, when the v1.05 patch gets released will it be necessary to wait for a new patch of you guys or can we get in the game right away? If we do need in some way one of your newer patches, do you have any idea how long it will approximately take? And, which steps do I have to take to get your patch working with the v1.05 one? <- maybe too soon to answer this one but I thought I'd ask it already anyway Thank you for your time answering my question Good thing btw that you guys are there because it seems the game won't get released in my country or not at least for a very long time

Then you won't like what I have to say guys, because I asked at FNAC and they told me they won't sell it, only FNAC France, when I was referring to release date unknown I was talking about gamemania, on the site of free record shop there is nothing mentioned of the game at all as well as for Mediamarkt because it isn't even in their upcoming list and I called a couple of other game stores here in Gent that I found in the gouden gids and they told me they won't be selling it either. So it doesn't sound too good. Maybe its a good thing that I download that German version even if it doesn't work too good for now but who knows maybe gamemania may eventually get it even though that might still take a while.

Without having to delete all those keys manually why not use Ccleaner.

Nope I'm not really in a gaming group but those who want to buy it that I know off would like to get the game and will do so eventually, I'm just telling to hold off for a little while. There are indeed a lot of other MP games coming out, but they're probably looking for a more sim game like I do.

Thx for your reply Indeed that's the last thing I heard, maybe Tuesday but they said don't count it because we are not sure when we'll get it. Like I posted already I downloaded the German version instead with the English conversion patch but I'm having some problems with the game so I put it aside until some patches come out. Maybe I'll still buy the boxed version but I'm not sure because I'm afraid I'll encounter the same problems.

I don't want to be to negative over this and so I'll be patient for the next patches, but those that ask me "should I buy the game" I simply say, wait until some issues get fixed before you do so. But otherwise I certainly recommend it to them.

I was impatient and downloaded the German one, applied the German 1.02 patch and then the conversion to English patch 0.9v (congrats to the guys who did a great job on this and devoted their time to it ). Tried it already on different settings and it works fine for a couple of minutes but then the lag starts, graphics on buildings and NPC's not loading properly, well all the things that have already been mentioned lots of times before. Alt+tabbing doesn't really help much. Not to mention bad triggers, bugs and pathfinding probs. I have for everything the latest drivers, the only thing that's running in the background is my sound software, setpoint logitech software for mouse and keyboard and my internet connection and no spyware to be found. Tbh, I keep my computer very clean with ccleaner every day and do a defrag twice a week. Scan for viruses once a week. My comp: - Windows XP Pro SP2 build 2600 - A8V Deluxe motherboard - AMD Athlon 64 3500+ - 2 Gig of DDR Ram at 400 Mhz - Audigy ZS2 soundcard - 6800 Ultra 256MB graphic card I know its a different game but just to let you know, I can play Oblivion with all the enhancement mods installed with everything maxed out. Have no problems with other games either whatsoever and never had. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not critizing on ArmA because I like the game a lot and I'm sure I'll enjoy it for a long time but before I can play it in a decent way I'll put it aside (screwed myself there by not being patient ) and hope that we won't have to wait too long for a couple of patches that'll hopefully make the game more playable. Maybe they should have waited a bit longer to release it but what's done is done and maybe they had their reasons the release it this way. Am I disappointed, of course but I'll keep my fingers crossed that in the end we'll have one of the better games out there.

Well since it still hasn't arrived in my country I couldn't wait any longer and so I downloaded (purchased) the German version and applied the English v0.9 patch.

My gameshop here in Belgium told me that they might get it tomorrow but that I wouldn't have to count on it. This is very strange for them because they always are the first to get games compared to other shops. So, I went to another store and they told me that they won't even import it to Belgium and that only their main office in France will sell it there locally. If there are Belgians here who got their hands on a hard copy already please let me know where you bought it. Thx
