omg I must say it looks pretty confusing in the graphics settings now after there are normal anti aliasing options:) I found out that fillrate behaves interesting - it works quite poor as an anti aliasing and the horizon and edges are still quite jagged, but IT ADDS DETAIL! I tested it while looking on a village from a hill and with fillrate over 100% I saw fences in the village and some other things which were not visible with fillrate 100%. So I would really not use this as an anti aliasing because normal anti aliasing options work much better and with higher fps, but there are these other interesting image effects worth testing... Anyway I did not find the difference between low, medium, high, very high and 5,6,7,8 anti aliasing options. Can someone explain it please? Also I would except option 4 there which is not present (but maybe the "normal" settings means 4 I guess...)

you know what's interesting? That even with fps around 30-40 the game seems smoother and mouse reaction faster after I lower postprocessing from high to low. How is it possible? I think like there is not only the fps problem, but also a reaction delay can be bigger if you have too high settings...

Nice places, but it is too flat and too square :-) The overall emptiness fights with nice detailed houses and surrounding.

We play multiplayer games. Often CrCTI. In some version the dead bodies stayed on the ground through the whole game and that was great, because there was a real feeling of a long fight. But now we played again and I saw dead bodies sinking to ground! How to set dead bodies and vehicle wrecks not to disappear? We play version 1.91

Hm, so I would probably write to that guy to make it as I want Hm, but I am quite sure we once played mfCTI in flashpoint 1.96 and the bodies were disappearing.Then we played it in OFP 1.91 and they didn't... it was the same mission

In Operation Flashpoint, there is sometimes very difficult to lock on visible target on the top HUD with those green, white and red rectangles. Even if I click right on it, it does not lock and I must move my mouse yet closer to the center of that small rectangle. Unfortunately meanwhile I am shot because it is shilka I cannot lock or I just flew away. So it would be really good to make locking targets easier, to make people less angry while trying not to hit ground with their AH1 because withal aiming at the target. Hm, but it should have been fixed in some patch already...

I think its wrong when OFP platinum has chosen Resistance campaign by default! Many players buy this game first time and they do not have any previous version of OFP. But when they want to start a game, they usually will not realize, that Resistance is a significantly more difficult datadisk and they should start rather with Cold War Crisis which is under that small arrow on the right! I think you cannot rely on their knowledge, they didn't all read reviews in game magazins to know that they should switch to CWC campaign if they are playing it for the first time. Yes it's the detail, but BIS you really think veteran player, who know, often buy OFP platinum edition? Unfortunately you cannot fix this already...

I am from Czech Republic and here it's known as Platinum edition although the autorun image says its "game of the year", but the desktop shortcut is named "Operation Flashpoint Platinum" maybe because the previous version was gold...But it's definitelly all the same and we have no special version. I still say that the "shock" from everon after watching the resistance pictures is irrelevant and silly. The reasons why everybody new to OFP shoul play CWC campaign BEFORE any datadisk campaigns are clear and if not, read my previous posts. If some game contains the original game and the datadisk too, its normal to have two launcher icons or if it doesn't, to have two menu items when the original game is always the first in order. I don't understand why BIS did this this way? GOTY edition is mainly for newcomers, but thay will be mostly disappointed by this...

I have a platinum version of OFP and I noticed that the old typical M16 sound is gone and it now sounds exactly the same as G36! I am sure this is wrong. Or do I have some local problem and noone another hears the same thing?

Better product? OK there are some new features, which some clients could demand... BUT for a beginner it's really not easy to play Resistance if he didn't play any flashpoint before! OMG just imagine yourself being a newbie and playing Resistance before anything else just because you didn't notice there is another campaign! In cold war crisis there are many hints and many "training" missions and you play 19missions under control of an officier having plenty of time to know every vehicle and weapon without having to bother with commanding other soldiers! In Resistance you are immediately a commander and I think many beginners would be frightened of what this game demands from them if they didn't realize, it's a datadisk! I think there is no reason to be ashamed of Cold War Crisis and not making it first be default, like all other games do! I think it's quite normal to play first the original game and then a datadisk. That does not matter a bit, that Resistance happens before CWC. We all played CWC and then Resistance, so why wouldn't beginners too? I am sure no one would enjoy Resistance if he didn't play CWC first because it would by simply too difficult for him...

You are not right! The AK47 and AK47cz do quite more damage then AK74 and you will notice killing soldiers by fewer hits if you try!
