Releasing smaller packs is the best way to go.
For me, it's important to first have some troops + jeep (Wolf/Wolf(mg)) + trucks(Unimog 2to/MAN 5to) + apc(MTW/Fuchs) to play with.

I upgraded from AMD X2 6000+ (2x3000MHz) to AMD X4 945 (4x 3000MHz).
GFX Card is GTX 275.
Not 1 fps more.
Don't try to find the bottleneck inside your hardware.
Bottleneck IS the game itself.

When playing "Evolution" it helps to get in as gunner.
Don't know if you can get to the gunners position in the missions you mentioned.

As far as I know, there is no "dead center" setting ingame or in the .cfg's.
And ArmA II and OA completely ignore my logitech settings for dead center.
If someone has a solution, I would be very pleased!

The "thing" is called Vsync. :o you have to use 3rd party softwares to disable it.Nope, I can disable it in the NVIDIA control panel, it's disabled since OFP.

Had an AI walking trough a tank one day in the editor.
Not nice, but also not the biggest problem.

I remember online playing Operation Flashpoint Resistance, "Capture the Island" with tons of addons and zillions of AI units.
I played @ 9FPS but you could still hit someone with your rifle.
In ArmA/ArmAII/OA there is sometimes so much "input lag" playing alone in the editor with just 3-5 trees in your sight, you can't aim properly.
We can see that adding AA to this game affects performance in a big way. We lost 28% of our average framerate just for 2X AA.There must be something BIS had not fixed since ArmA I up to day.
I really hope this "thing" can be found some day.
