    I have a fix/workaround for this special problem.

    You need a second controller with a "throttle slider" (e.g.: Logitech Wingman Rumblepad).

    Now configure the rudder to the "throttle slider":

    Now the hardest part:

    Try to move the slider only a very little bit to the left or right.

    If you move it to far, your aircraft will always head into this direction!

    You are done, enjoy flying aircrafts in ArmA2 like it should be! ;)

    ==========

    It looks like, that a permanent rudder input, even if it is only 0,1%, disables that idiotic bug!

    Is there a way to manual control the landing gear?

    Kind of stupid flying very low, sneaking towards the unknown enemies, trusting your "stealth abilities" while having the landing gears down.

    It would be great to use the "gear up/down" mapped keys on my joystick.

    Another idea: Is it possible to control the weapon bay via the "flaps up/down" keys?

    You all will see..

    In 4-5month, after 3-4 more patches, the game will run better.

    It's the same story like we had with arma1.

    Released in a very poor condition and "patched to death", now it works.

    It's sad, it's ridiculously and it's BIS-like.

    I will sit and wait, and maybe one day, I can finally begin playing the campaign, which I didn't touched since I got the game(german release day).

    As long as no other game company is making a game like OFP/A1/A2, I have to wait for patches instead of playing, waiting for the "final day".

    ...I just hope they make a really good,long campaign like in OPF and put as much units as in the original. :)

    I don't think, that you can make a campaign like "cold war crisis".

    In CWC we had the USA vs. Soviet Union.

    -> Two huge armies.

    In A2-OA we will have USA vs.?!? who?, Taliban/Terrorists?

    -> One huge army and the "evil insurgents ", hiding in "spider holes".

    Let's hope the best..

    "This addon requires ARMA II Operation Arrowhead..."

    I'm running out of hope for:

    - bugfree releases

    - game runs with more then ~10fps on high/very high end computer

    - no more ~8 year old bugs

    - a base for a STRONG community

    - a base for a GREAT multiplayer experience

    - a linux dedicated server from the beginning

    - realistic controls for AIR, LAND and SEA

    - NEW features NEVER seen before in a game

    - Insert your trouble with ArmAI & ArmAII right here: ( __________ )

    First this disasterous release of patch 1.03

    Then the "ARMA II Community Update".. "Everything will be fine, we love you and fix everything!"

    And now: "Oh, btw, there is this expansion, Operation Arrowhead!"
