What driver versions are the 8800 users running? I am currently using 101.02's. Maybe that is contributing to my woes??I'll try some other ones after I get home. Stupid nVidia Â
I am using the same driver(101.02) with my GF8800GTS.
Performance is really good. No texture/lod problems.

Looks like the GF8800 fog isn't completly gone:
But it's not a big problem anymore.

LeeHOswald, you have an 8800 right? Can you put your VD up to 5000 and see all the way now?I don't know if the GF8800 "fog bug" is fixed, but the BIS "fog bug" is gone.

With this patch, ArmA runs very well from what I can tell right now.
But I have a good feeling about all this.
Viewdistance fix is great and looks fantastic.
Good fps even with higher viewdistances.
Good job so far BIS Team!

ArmA has no support for your:
- Dual Core CPU
- VGA SLI Mode
- Windows Vista
+ ArmA has problems with geforce 8800 series. For me(8800GTS/640MB), it's huge frame drop after some minutes of play. After Alt+Tab or changing the shadows to "disabled" and then back to "very high", FPS are ok for another couple of minutes.
We still have to wait for new patches and new vga driver.

Thanks for reporting.
But I wait for an official release, don't think those drivers will fix any arma releated stuff or bring better performance.

Nice work, but is 3 things that I don't like so far.
- The debug text, please tell me how to disable.
- Bases are to close. (I will change that myself.)
- Starting locations(See picture.)
