These tutorial sites are a great way to get started Think I can say with some certainty that a lot of the veteran OFP modders started out on these back in the day. There have been others too, but many of them have perished along with OFP. Brsseb's Tutorials Colonel Klink's Tutorials Hope this was helpful.

You lost sleep? Buhu, That's a first... Anyway, Tall guy, you should implement that little sonic boom script we made awhile back if you don't already have it implemented. I found it in my mission folder the other day and perfected it so that the sound actually comes from the object. Vehicles can actually use the say command... who would have thought! Nice job on the cartrige btw.

Don't think I'll be telling my grandkids about this. Burned a CD and printed out that cover for a friend with 56k. He thought it was very cool.

Well, I got the idea from it, so...

Here is how I did it, in a galaxy far, far away. It's quite fun using this weapon without user interface. First, I had the laser in the 0.350 lod too, but that didn't go to well in DM, TDM, CTF and so on (for obvious reasons!).

Hey everyone. I'm that friend who tested the mod on a dedicated server. Over the last few days. Testing out vaious methods of hosting. I've come to the following conclusions: Hosting a listening server will ware down the host's CPU cause of the ECP effects, so you'll need some raw CPU power if you don't want low FPS. You might get different results with other setups. Tip: You might get better results without running DXDLL, and setting ECP to low settings. Hosting this mod on a dedicated server on the other hand is just wonderful. We had so much fun, I started enjoying OFP again. Conclusion: Listening server = Not sure but the host will definitively have problems at some point with ECP effects. Dedicated server = Two thumbs up. Went without a hitch! Here is some information about the hardware I used to test Y2k3's online capabilities. Listening server: 3Ghz, 1Gb Ram, Radeon 9800 Pro. Dedicated server: 2.8Ghz, 1Gb Ram. Here are some personal screenshots from either hosting a dedicated server with War-Dog and or Too-Tall. I recommend checking out the screenshots from the 14th. The other screenshots were taken with rather messed up graphics settings. The latest screenshots (from the 14th) are my normal OFP settings. A couple or two screenshots are from playing on other various servers.

I myself have a Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB version running Catalyst 4.1 and have no problem with the cannot create 3d device.. My friend however has a Radeon 9600 XT 256MB version and can't play OFP v1.95 with or without addons. We have tried pretty much everything with no success. Any suggestions for a possible fix will be appreciated very much. Our squad server is running 95 meaning he can't play. This patch needs a new bandage!

I have a Microsoft Sidewinder 2 Force Feedback joystick and I really don't like the way it operates in ofp. When i play ofp, it becomes all lose and really not that easy to handle. I am wondering how i can disable force feedback in ofp, so my joystick operates the default way!?

I'm really sorry for arguing about some stupid thing on this tread. About the weapon, It rocks! The model is lovely and its just perfect, this goes right into loc-dog's sniper rifle top 5 list

So you're saying that you clicked on the M24SWS (655kb) link from www.loc-dog.com and it downloaded from ofp.info? That is impossible.

Sorry! I was going to host a backup mirror since I myself had problems downloading from legowars.com and ofp.gamezone.cz but I am having a few problems with my accout or connection. Cool mod by the way, except that they migh have to fix the pilot view a bit and the lego people doesn't tutch the ground!

LOL, looks like a slice of Hitman Codename 47 and Operation Flashpoint!
