Whats so problematic in WIN98SE It isn't even half the size of XP and supports everything you need. (At least to play OFP) I actualy have more problems under XP !!! For example there are certain games that just won't run under XP (maybe only on my computer), or they start but sound or graphics are so messed up that its impossible to play them. Also i don't need those tons of bullshit in XP that are only wasting resources !

I can say it only again: The only solution to get rid of the crackling, even with CreativeLabs-Drivers, is to change your OS to WIN98SE !!!

Whats up with you guys , the problem with the footsteps heared over large distances was solved some patches ago. Also i was experiencing those crackling-noises only under Win XP and with EAX and Hardwareaccelaration turned on. So i think its rather useless to download these drivers, cause the only thing that prevents the crackling is to turn of EAX under Win XP and the reason why these drivers are not crackling is they just don`t support EAX ! Btw. I'am running 2 OS's on my computer Win XP & Win98SE Under Win98SE i don't have any soundproblems, so i suggest playing OFP under Win98SE is the only usefull solution to this crackling-problem while using EAX

Ok, after nearly one hour running around your tanks and shooting at them with different weapons i discovered that it is not a problem on all tanks . On the iraqi tanks it is possible to shoot throu the left front wheel and half of the second. Strange is only the Type 98, you can shoot rockets and tank-shells throu the rear part of the turret, but all riflebullet are stoped correctly. -

Those Models look very good, but when i was testing them i found that the FireGeometry must be a real pice o shit. Almost on every tank it is possible to shoot throu certain parts like the tracks and from some angles you can even shoot a missile straight throu the turret  Shouldn't have been realeased so early, because with those bugs their almost unusable in the game  Q: Do you re-release them with a working FireGeometry or will   we have to wait for the next Tank-Package -
The SwissMod Realeased V1.1 of this beautifull Tank It features minor CPP Changes and a rather big BUGfix in the first version bullets sometimes were just going throu the tank !!!

Thanks @Vikingo Now it works .... i didn't had them in da OPF/Addons, only in da Resistance folder -
 See ? It works if you edit the CPP -  and thoose few lines you have to alter or cut ... very easy too !!! so all the ppl don't wana download the other SwissMod addons : try  it ! its worth it !

if you want the tank to run without their units and weapons, just unPBO it, edit the config.cpp so that there is a normal crew - and also delete that section Transportweapon & -Ammo : and hey it should work fine at least it did for me

I found out that you need those Sig P90 Rifles from their site also, cuz they were added in the .cpp with class Transportweapon etc.
