    1.05 Benchmark Mission Results

Bench 1 = 122 fps Bench 2 = 24 fps Using latest cat drivers and ATT tool to turn off vsync Shadows - off graphics memory -high Post process - disabled AA - normal AF - Very high Objects detail - high Ground detail - normal View distance - 3600 Resolution - 1920x1200 3D Resolution - 1920x1200 Not sure what the deal is with bench 2, does not seem like it will go higher no matter what settings I use.
  2. I assume that the forum mailer is either broken or has been turned off which is somewhat annoying. OP started the thread 8 days ago and no word from those in charge as to what the problem might be leads me to believe it might be turned off on purpose. ;)
  3. Hey Jef ;) To the OP, DK (Dragon-Knights) are still active and have been since 2001. We have gone through OFP, Arma and are now playing Arma 2. Probably one of the longest running squads that are still around from those days. ;)

I had to jump through a few hoops to get ATT installed on W7, you might need to do the same with Vista, not sure. The problem for me in W7 is that ATT uses an unsigned driver. First off you need to disable UAC (User account control) in windows control panel/user accounts. Then reboot Then go to start menu/run type 'cmd'. You will then see 'cmd' on the top of the start program list, right click and choose 'run as administrator'. Once opened type or copy and paste the following into CMD and press enter: bcdedit /set testsigning on bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS That will turn off unsigned drivers and allow you to install the ATT driver. Hope that helps. ;)

Have made some tweaks recently that has finally brought my game up to spec for the hardware I am running. Not sure if any of this info will be helpful to others but here are some points to consider. HT off Moved my swap file to my two spare drives, each drive has a 2-4gb swap. SSD has no swap file. This resolved my jerky/studdering gameplay. Using ATT to turn off vsync (massive improvement with this, FPS is up and mouse lag is gone) Using Windows 7 Professional 64 RTM Using Cat 9.8 No switches in my start shortcut For this test CPU was 'only' running at 3.8ghz, both GFX are overclocked to 800mhz on all four cores Texture Detail - Normal Anisotropic Filtering - Normal Terrain Detail - Normal Objects Detail - Normal Shadow Detail - Normal PostProcess Effects- Low Fill rate 100% Resolution - 1680 x 1050 For my normal multiplayer settings (1600x1200) I get a score in the high 8k's. Can do a run and screen shot as such if needed ;)

Texture Detail - Normal Anisotropic Filtering - Normal Terrain Detail - Normal Objects Detail - Normal Shadow Detail - Normal PostProcess Effects- Low Resolution - 1680 x 1050 Normal Score - 5185 I then ran the test with 1920 x 1200 res and 125% fill and got 5322
  8. I can confirm that all four of my cores are working in crossfire. I am using W7 64, arma2.exe and -winxp switch I cured the light flickering issues by disabling the cat AI, although there seems to be a slight performance hit when doing this.

Error message cannot memory map xx

Well I think I have found the problem, I was using a fixed swap file setting instead of letting windows manage it (set it to 768-768) so I would not have and swap file usage. When I reversed this and let windows manage it it seemed to work.......

    OFP and GeForce3 Ti200

ok heres the real deal......... If I had a semi limited budget (i.e. could not afford a Ti500) the Ti200 offers the BEST value/performance for the money... the Ti200 will perform very well and yes you can/will be able to achieve the same clock speeds as a Ti500.... dont even think about goin to a GF2  it is not fully DX8 and unless your getting a bargain basment price I would pass on it... for speed/features/upgradability  go with the GF3 it will last you more than a few upgrade cycles... P.S. just so you know it might be wise to hold on cause a GF4 is right around the corner and rumors are it really smokes !!! Also there is out just now a new series of the GF3 Ti200 that has 128mb (instead of 64) of really fast ram.... watch out for that one

    Multiplayah Ease!

some off the addons are 1+mb ... Just think for a second how long the load up is just to DL the map.... It would be faster for the peeps w/o the addon to DL it on thier own I kringe at the thought of having to wait 20-25 mins for a 56ker to DL a file that should only take him 5 minutes on his own

    Ghost Recon vs OFP

RgR that S_Z admittedly I did only play the demo..... I think they put Ghost Re.. in there on the reviews because of the difficulty in finding a suitable game to compare OpFlsh to.. To each his own I say Did'nt mean to be insulting with the crappy remark I was just funnin

    Malboeuf vs. Murda Inc

I would be READY, WILLING and ABLE to play the winner of said match... I would prefer to play the blow hard (you all know who I mean) but would be quite happy to play Murda if he milks that bovine bitch

    Ghost Recon vs OFP

Why do people keep compairing the two?? I have never seen Op Flash compared to Ghost "Recrap" in any reviews.... you know why? Â because they are 2 Â totally different games.... I'm sick and tired of seeing this brought up...... 23. Ok I'm sick and tired of waiting for the lame ass british telecom service to get it in gear and hook up the public on High speed connections. I have been stuck on 56k for the last 2 years with not one option open to me, Until now   People in the UK now have the opportunity to get 2 way broadband satelite connection  here are the details http://www.aramiska.co.uk/  It is not cheap the starting package is 400.00 pounds to set up with a monthly charge of 99.00 pounds .... What I would like to know is does anyone here use/have used a 2 way sat connection..? what about the starter package are those up/down speeds worth the money? How much is a normal monthly transfer for someone who plays online ??  1GB seems a bit low?  Thanks Â

    Drivers for my graphic card

sorry Damage but these are the newest drivers.... Get the official 23.11 drivers here http://www.nvidia.com/ choose where it says drivers on the top, then choose your OS (operating system,I.E.98/Me/2000/XP) then download and "READ" the read me on how to unistall your current drivers and install the new ones....  please follow the instructions to avoid causing your self undue heartache for frame rate detection go to http://www.fraps.com/ download their free program, install. Then start it up before you start up OpFlash and your good to go  p.s. some people might start saying don't get the 23.11's  but my advice to you is start with those (on a properly configed system they should run just fine)  if they give you any problems then start working your way back down in the series...
