ok, i guess im going to be the asshole here. the rappeling script was good, but the ropes stayed in place even after the guys dropped down them...hmm not good. also, on the marching anims feet on these soldiers look CRAZY. it was driving me nuts watching them march like that. and second, I was utterly offended that they made the US army march like a bunch of fucking goose-steppers. if youre going to animate something that people take some pride in, do it right, or dont do it at all.

that pic is of USMC operators. USMC operators wear woodland camo year round (except for desert camo and their new camo pattern). The camo in the pic looks identical to woodland camo. If you think differently, you need glasses, or are colorblind. So thus, the Camo on the Pic IS woodland camo. TOW and BAS both use woodland camo patterns in their mods. Thus, The camo in that pic is the same as the BAS and TOW camo. you are wrong sir, sorry to have to say it so plainly, but its just a fact. These have been made, maybe not with the same gear, but the camo is the same.

my dad has one of these xmitters. very cool stuff. they have round-the-world potential for communication. Of course there are thousands of antenna varieties that look almost identical to this, with small, minute changes, but nevertheless, it is very realistic as far as HAM radios go.

ok i finished it last night, and i have a few things you should know. The Briefing is filled with some useless stuff, such as meteorological reports. wind isnt modeled to any effect in OFP, niether is barometric pressure. if youre adding those for some sort of "immersion factor" then ok. if not, take em out. the "general" target should be more clearly recognizable. it should be reskinned in black or something. Also, the radio calls should be covered more in the briefing. i waited around for about 5 minutes before i realized that I had to call for the helicopter to come pick me up. The other soldiers in the area, such as the officers, their roles should be more clearly defined. They should have a label or something in their name when you place the x-hair over them. But overall, a great mission. lots of fun, very challenging. the charachter you play however, has a really unsteady hand. If he was trained in sniping his aim should be rock-steady. if you could mod that into the charachter I would appreciate it

ok what the hell does the "General" target look like? i see a bunch of targets, and i see a barrel. i also see about 3 guys on the ridge looking out (which i assume are the instructors) but which one to I shoot after I call my window?

ive been trying to make one with just 75 guys, but the game keeps crashing...dammit -
I used the script from tutorial #5 and them placed a trigger along the route the helo was supposed to follow, gfrouped the trigger and the helo together, then in the Onactivation field i wrote -player exec "so-and-so.sqs"- and nothing happened. how do i get this to work??? Ive been able to get the script to work at waypoints, but the helo circles the waypoint while dropping, waiting for all the guys to get out, but they start falling on one another and dying. I want the Helo to just keep flying, dropping troops as it goes, spreading a long line of them.

I'd like to make a mission where you have to move into a house, kil some guards and then kill a high-ranking general, or maybe snipe him from a window, but how do i make him go into a house and stay where i need him to?

alot of stuff looksbetter than it does now. the player model of tha guy landing on the beach with the LST in the background looks awesome.

the thing about having an RWR on the helo's...just isnt realistic. i know some helo's have them, but Stingers and other man-portable SAM's are almost always Passive IR guided, making them impossible to be detected when they are traking something, Scince they emit no energy waves themselves, they only look for other sources to home in on. Oh, and BTW, i have a Saitek X45 FCS....eat it

yeah my paratroops are getting spread out all to hella nd gone, so i think ill slow it down just before they jump -
the apache never was fitted for Air-to-Air rockets, however a few versions can be fitted with stinger missiles (usually 2 sets of 2 on the wingtips) or two sidewinders on the wingtips. I havent seen that configuration very much, however

Its an airborne drop, and alot of bugs need to be ironed out, theres no intro, briefing or outro, but that because im still learning, but its basically an assault on a small town with air support. you play a sniper in a squad of 12. six squads in 3 chinooks will make the assault an a town with a resistance of 4 squads and 4 M2 Machine gun bunkers good luck, and i'd like some feedback I hope this Link works, if it doesnt, would someone be willing to host? http://communities.msn.com/Wankasplace/Documents/Ofpairbornedrop.zip
