I was looking around the internet for a new computer because i want to be able to play ofp better. I found some at pricewatch. Most of them were like 1.2ghz with 128mb ram for around $300. I thought that was a good deal so i might buy one when I get the money. Does it sound a little too good to be true? Has anyone else bought a puter from them? BTW here is the link :

I downloaded texture swap from ofpeditingcenter and when I try to open it I get a message that says, "Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." I have tried re-downloading it like 15 times and everytime I open it it gives me this message. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

go to www.ofpeditingcenter.com there are a ton of tutorials that will give you step by step info on how to do it. There is one where you can make a group of paratroopers drop out of the helocopter one at a time. Its really awesome

First of all you have to download a program like winzip. Once you do that then winzip should pop up after you are done downloading any .zip file and then you can unzip it. And finally put the .pbo or whatever into the correct folder.

The only thing I liked about the mission was slamming into the civilian truck. It's his fault he pulled out in front of me. I smash the truck and yet dont have any major damage to my hummwv. hmmm....

I dont make them my self but I was told by Kegetys that he uses DePBO, StuffPBO, UltraEdit and Adobe Photoshop. I guess you'll have to wait until someone tells you how to make the models. Actually I would like to know too.

speaking of addons...... what program do you addon makers use to make your addons?

I'm thinking of buying a new video card since I have an old voodoo 3 16bit. So could a bunch of people please post a screenshot with their video card and maybe even the approximate price?

i did it on that big fjord thing on malden. I jumped the clif to the other side and flipped. I used the manual fire and it lauched me about a mile and a half out to sea. I've been able to do it multiple times.

i have the crappy pci and it is only 16 bit color. My friend has a geforce 3 and it looks so much better than mine and just makes me want to get the same thing. To bad im not gunna spend an extra $300 to play ofp a little better but i would like one.

i have the same problem. when the host launches the game i get to the creating client screen and it boots me back to the room. sometimes it says Ddhelp has performed and illegal operation and then Aphex has performed and illegal operation. I didnthave this problem before v.1.42.

ok I ve got it now. I just opened hs and then pressed scroll lock and the picture when right into the hs window. My problem before was I didnt even have hs open. Thanks

I have a voodoo 3 3000 video card and I cant take screenshots on ofp. On any game for that matter. They always come out all scribbled and screwed up. Is there any way to fix the problem? I'm pretty sure I have the latest drivers.

I enabled the special features thing but when I paste them into hypersnap they are still all screwed up.

I have a: Intel celeron 663mhz 64mb ram voodoo 3 3000 With what I have there is some lag when there is a lot of units on the screen. So I am looking to add and additional 256mb ram to my computer. Will that stop most of the lag? And will I be allowed to turn up the graphic to mostly full without lag. (Or is it my processor?)

There is also one on malden. Its really cool if you can jump the canyon over the water and land on the other side. When you jump it with a t80 and then flip on the roof, you can stay in the drivers seat and put on manual fire and fire while u are upside down and it launches you about 2 miles out to see.

Im looking at getting the 256 mb sdram pc133. It is 25 bucks at the local compusa. So I guess I might as well try it out. I almost 100% sure that will fit my computer.

that happens to me too only when I am in direct 3d mode. I have a voodoo 3 3000 so if you have a voodoo and are using direct 3d switch it to glide
