No it's not just you I like those too. The best missions I've seen with those types of gameplay are contained in the ULOTC campaign. You can get it at ofp.gamezone.cz in the campaigns area. I love that campaign. As the campaign progresses though you eventually start taking command of bigger and bigger squads. It's probably the best campaign I've seen so far. If it had voices it would be better than the official 1985 campaign I think.

I hope this is still getting worked on, I just downloaded it the other night and I've been playing it nonstop since. Great work BTW. Only problem I've had so far is that the helos will only hover above an injured squad when I need them evaced. After they do this I can no longer give them orders and I eventually had to have them jump out of there. I was working on recovering them but then a major VC offensive had just broken out and I couldnt really deal with it because I had all my assets on trying to evac the chopper squad and the injured rifle team. Otherwise I love it, I hope we'll get to see 1.80 awfully soon.

Dynamic range audio package for resistance v1.75

great job pv! I was beginning to have doubts as to when this was going to be released if ever. But you have eased my suffering and made it possible for me to sleep at night! lol I just have one question, are the ak and the m16 supposed to sound exactly the same? I don't mean they sound alike, I mean they are one and the same. I was killing russians on a mission with an m16, then dropped it to pick up an ak to hear the new sounds and all and when i fired it again, it was exactly the same as the m16...is that fixed in the new version and if so...do I have to download the entire pack(pbo and bin) or just the bin. Thanks and I'm sorry if they are indeed not the same. -
I'm anxious to hear if there has been any progress made yet? Please post anyone? Oh and regarding what I had initally posted......It worked when I had first started it up no problems, so i ran around for a bit, shot my rifle, then decided to tell everyone what my big breakthrough had been. When I went back to play again, I got an error starting up saying something about an invalid setting or variable or something. It didnt crash there, but it DID crash whenever i would try to start a mission. I have been fooling around with the config file for the last week and have made absolutely no progress at all! So i really do hope someone has been able to do what I cannot.

Hey, I spent over 2 hours last night putting some really awesome sounds that i had gathered from Ghost Recon, Sum of All Fears, and some other mods for the two, into a sound mod. Â But, whenever i made them into a .wss file by converting them, i noticed they were all 30kb in size. Â So what I did then was converted them back to wav and tried playing them. Â They were ALL blank 0:00 files. Â EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM! Â I was so p**sed off at having wasted two hours for nothing. Â As anyone who has played Ghost Recon might agree, they have awesome weapon sounds for just about everything. Â Rifles sound like cracks, MG's are slightly deeper than rifles but still have that cracking noise. Â I thought they would be excellent in OFP. Â If anyone has successfully managed to change these sounds over w/out any problems, could you please post here how you did so? Â Thanks

So, Munger, what you're saying is that you CAN in fact use satchel's sounds in resistance just not in multiplayer? I would be very interested in trying to do this. It is, just like everyone else here's, my favorite soundpack. If not, I'll stick with battlesounds, which i agree with bn880, it's the best pack for resistance.
