Would be great for recon, and of course transport. The boat gets old too fast.

Most of the new sounds are lame, the AKs sound like toys to me now, I loved how they used to sound especially in burst. I haven't noticed any difference in how the AI performs with different weapons, all I ever armed them with throughout the campaign was M21, SVD, PK, AK47cz and AK74/grenade. I never found they made use out of anything else.

yeah, they're called pistols, you can kill people and take them, and they allow you to kill people when your rifle is OUT OF AMMO!!! pretty cool, huh?

So many funny stories, where do I begin. My first death was in invasion, I was going full speed on the motorcycle over a hill and ended up taking a bit of a flight with a shall we say unhealthy landing, crashed the bike and slid maybe 10 meters down the road, if that wasn't enough shortly after I died a yellow car drove over my neck and legs On the mission where you are supposed to destroy the gunships at the airport, my men kept getting killed no matter what I did. On about the 6th try, I eventually went in with a bizon, 6 magazines and 2 RPGs. I had my men wait on the hill while I proceeded to run in from the west side. Ran as fast as I could into one of the buildings, got to the top floor and started picking off troops through one of the windows with my Bizon. I'm sure we all know the Bizon isn't the most accurate weapon at 200m but there I was in the house merrily picking away soviets, blasting away a MI-24 that was trying to take off in the process. When I was out of ammo (and all the ruskees I could see were dead) I ran outside with my CZ75 drawn, only to come face to face with half a dozen soldiers & a few spetz natz. While my body was being happily violated with many many rounds of ammo, the spetz natz ran up to me and put a bomb at my then falling body. Eventually I finished the mission another time by stealing all the helicopters The following is an example of what a black op can do to a bus full of General Guba clones.

There are trainers out there for OFPR but I have no idea if they work on multiplayer (nor do I want to find out) If it's true I hope there will be a patch to fix it and keep it from happening in the future, and also hope it doesn't start a mass wave of cheating accusation posts. At least the poor SOB activated FADE

I don't think it was mentioned, but I think James mentioned working with him before.

http://www.fortress-ofp.com/addons.html the MG pack if that's the one you're talking about, never heard of any others.

I went back and looked through the sound files, he's not saying Tasman is Tom, he's talking to someone named Tom "Victor have you been listening? Who is he, that tampanian devil?" "Tasmanian, Tom, Tasmanian, I have no idea, but he's playing a dangerous game"

When I "played" it, it was pretty shall we say...typical. Another bundle of maps where the resistance has limitless supply of weapons and ammo, sorry excuse for a storyline and of course it would seem the enemy AI always set to recruit while the friendly AI was always set to expert. I don't know about everyone else but I find no enjoyment out of being able to wipe out squad after squad of the enemy by myself. It also had plenty of bugs. Basically it might be worth it as a campaign you can download, but definately not retail worthy. I've seen many downloadable campaigns from experienced mission editors that were better than this. And so ends the rant

I like the idea, I crash more looking at the map than I do from hostile fire. Could probably be done with a script but something official would be nice.

I liked the airport one where you were supposed to destroy the gunships (oops) I ended up sitting in one of the apartments with my bizon killing every single russian at the airport when they were all dead I flew away in the V-80 with a MI-24 and MI-17 flown by the AI, sadly they weren't around the next mission Also fun to try to kill all the russians in invasion.

You can change their sides in notepad. Civilian pistol fights are quite a sight

Ai attacks an empty unit

I couldn't seem to get any resistance soldiers to shoot it when I tried to reproduce, but try finding the scud in notepad and changing the side to CIV. Should show up as civilian to them then and HOPEFULLY they will be a little less trigger happy. -

Not sure about empty vehicles but try putting this setcaptive true in the init field. -
You can put satchells and mines and whatnot in trucks/crates but to do that I've had to drop everything else so it came up as primary weapon, then the put action appeared. Not a good idea to try to load up the satchells when enemy troops may be lurking, making ammo runs unarmed is not pretty

my guess would be some sort of civilian chopper

i nominate myself for most useless poster
