All I can add is that when I'm playing the game - there is a British mind at the controls.

I had just this trouble too. I had to uninstall OFP and uninstall Zonealarm as well, then deleted codemasters folder. rebooted. installed 1.00 from cd. rebooted. ran 1.2 upgrade. rebooted. ran 1.3 upgrade. rebooted. After all this it worked. DMZ - demilitarized zone is a computer or network that sits between a private network and the public internet that prevents public users getting direct access to the private stuff. its an alternative to a firewall and can be used as a proxy too.

I cant use gamespy or ASE either - I always go to the codemasters/flashpoint chat page to get IP addresses of people running servers, and put the ip in manually in 'multiplayer' http://www.codemasters.com/flashpoint/chat/ (Edited by LARD at 3:58 pm on Nov. 20, 2001)
