Mods (I'm talking about full conversion mods) are too big and bulky and hard to manage, while addons or packs are a lot easier to fix or modify. Besides, some people probably won't need certain parts of your total conversion mod, but they will have to use the whole thing anyway… Also, if you make a real full conversion chances are high that we probably won't be able to use it alongside with other full conversion mods like FDF or CSLA-2, and many folks won't like that at all.  Let's have a look at one of the most promising mods – "Liberation 1941-45". It's about World War 2, so the creators could easily turn it into a total conversion mod, but they don't do that. You can use their tanks or weapons (give them to FIA Resistance for example) against basic BIS units and everything will be nice and realistic. Something I like about this mod is that they release what they have already completed and don't wait till the entire mod is ready. I think it is a good policy. Goold luck! P.S. I am a mission maker, and I don't think there's a lack of good missions. I guess many mission makers don't feel like publsihing their new scenarios, because they think all OFP fans are already experienced enough to make their own stuff.

New OPFOR, right? Why would ANYONE want to make another set of Russain or Soviet troops after Laser and ORCS have released thier packs? Spetsnas Mod are making BMPs and BRDMs and somehow I don't think it would be a good idea to do the same thing. "Our Weapons" will make new choppers and AA stuff... Well, OPFOR will soon have plenty of new cool things and now you are saying you want to make your own stuff for the opposition... I don't get it, it just dose not seem reasonable to me...

"...this MOD will be a full conversion like FDF..." WHAT?! Â This is silly. Look, you certainly can do whatever you want, but there are plenty of folks who are totally against full conversions. And I'm one of them. So a RIP version would be appretiated - guys from CSLA-2 were very smart to make it. Who needs total conversions anyway? I like OFP the way it is. We need new units - not new rules!

Okay, please explain this to me - BRM and BMM... one is a recon unit, and another is a medical bmp, right? bmp-p has an improved AT missile ? bmp-d - "uparmored" ? bmp-ag - it has ags-17?

you guys should give the lynx to the PUKF so that they could try and make a modern version, and maybe a tank hunter too... well, it's just a thought

Great! Outstanding!! Super!!! I love it, everyone I know loves it! Okay, just a throguht - would it be a good idea to make an M60 (A3 probably, but it looks very-very similar to M60A1) with ERA? M60A2 looks very nice, and I don't care if it was a "failure" It will work fine in OFP, you know. Thank you very much for this addon! can't wait to try it

"You are in the minority bro because you don't fully understand the necessity of having a backset companion in an F-15E or an F-14." I don't think we need a gunner... G8's Tornado has one and what? you have to use "Manual fire" all the time... and this "Tornado" (unlike other jets with only one pilot/gunner) needs too much time to take out a target. So I vote for only one pilot - no gunners please! -

About Mk19 - it works O.K. when you are really close to your target, but try to make your gunner kill someone at 100m... Anway... Do you think it is possible to add a m151 with a recoilless cannon (for some older versions maybe?) and newer modifications probably should have a TOW

I think you might want to modify your Mk19 a little... make it more like mk19 by FK. His mk19 is easier to use for AI, and yours is more like a short range weapon of mass destruction. too powerful Any AA weapons planned?

F-14 ! Great!! - Instead of long range, maybe Phoenix missiles in OFP should have a big indirect hit radius and proximity detonators? It's a powerful AA missile, that's for sure… - AI controlled A-6 with napalm will not target and engage infantry... (I have the latest version)
