- Recoil is WAAAY to high - AI boys use single rounds too often (instead of firing full-auto, especially when you have M14A2 LSW) - SD versions are not really "silenced"... Other than that it's a perfect pack.
-
I like it a lot, but... Just HOW MANY helos do you ALREADY have ?! It's definitely "an overkill" Why not make some tanks for a change, or APCs or IFVs, or anything else instead of choppers?
-
Here's a new Gvozdika model... (from http://www.ofp.bmj.pl/) the pic http://www.ofp.bmj.pl/phpnews/images/Vilas_IND_1.jpg
-
Exactly! That's what I'm talking about. IMHO, I'm not sure if there's any need for a searchligh, but an aparmored M60 (with ERA) is definitely a must-have.
-
I think I saw a minigun on one of your MH-53 models, and if you already have this model, then... Well, it's just a thought.
-
What are your plans for the HMMV pack? Any additions, or improvements of the existing untis? Do the Marines have a HMMV with M242 chaingun?
-
In what way? Oops, well, maybe not Mk 7... I think I saw a picture of a tank-desrtoyer Lynx in some old military magazine, and it looked quite similar to AH-64D - a radar above the rotor etc.
-
Okay, I will ask this once again - a version of the M60 with ERA - is it possible?
-
I'm seriously thinking of updating the Lynx to modern versions sometime. in all honesty, the small changes in the Lynx since 1982 are mainly eye candy in ofp - we'd be happy just putting our dpm troops in the lynx for starters  *can't wait to get his grubby mitts on it* And what about the Lynx AH Mk 7 ? isn't it quite similar to AH-64 ?
-
Oops, maybe it has a different name... Striker is a SAR combat shotgun, and there's a shorter version "Bulldog" as well as a greande launcher similar to MM-1... You know what I'm talking about?..
-
And that's a good thing! Glad to to hear that your project is still alive. As a "Soviet" tank gunner I definitely can't wait to engage this baby in action!
-
I wonder... will EAST get any Laser guided things?
-
Huh? "just wanted to point out that for those who REALLY want a US Army Super Cobra (even though the US Army doesn't use the Super Cobra), Vit retextured a bunch of Super Cobras..." I am sorry... but Vit makes terrible stuff. Although I have not seen any of his supercobras, I did get a chance to try some of his planes... And I will never download anything else he makes ever again. And one more thing Those Marines you have just shown us... Well, you see, I'm trying hard to figure out why THIS looks better than the USMC troops by E&S, and it seems to me that it doesn't! But ofcourse it is an erly beta, so in time I'm sure we will see some improvements. BTW - the screen is a bit too dark, don't you think? About the Chain of Command's Unified Artillery version 1.1 I guess I'll just quote them: "Yes, I really want more cool units… We dont' make our own units, so if there's a unit you'd really like to see use UA, contact the modelmaker and have that person get in contact with me. We actively support UA integration into existing models. If you have a model, we can make it work." (!) So… don' you think it's a good opportunity to complete you LAV-M? If you need a scripter to make it work, I will gladly get in touch with the CoC for you. I am sure they will help you guys. On the other hand this was posted a long time ago, and now they are already betatesting the UA v.1.1, so there's a chance that they will not have time to work on any new models right now… (Here's a link to their page): http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=39757
-
Long time - no news... Yes, I think this project is dead.
-
Sorry... didn't want to upset you. For some reason I had a feeling that the Chain of Comman actually want to help anyone who has good artillery models to make them a part of their UA v1.1 Maybe that means that they would be your scripters, no? Very nice forum you have there! And here's my favorite part "There could be something around the Christmas holidays that would make all very pleased.Depending on how things are going there might be a Christmas Teaser. Just a thought though." I LOVE you guys!

Great idea!! I belive that the USMC weapon pack by E&S plus another pack by Laser should provide you with enough material for your own weapons. There are some other types of weapons, like those heavy sniper rifles (SJB has one - looks good to me) or HK things. It's just too bad that King Homer won't be able to finish his pack. Is there any chance that he could give to... well, to someone who can complete it? Maybe you guys?

Thank you for your reply! I really appreciate your answers! And about that question "why should we make any Army Supercobras?" Well, you should not… I am only humbly begging you to consider this option. Okay, seriously, this is your mod and it requires a lot of time and strength to complete. We all know that. So nobody is trying to tell you what to make. All we do is ask: "do you think it would be a good idea to make this unit" or "any chance that you plan to make that vehicle?" etc. I respect your work and don't want to press down on you. AND it's very good to know that there will be a Supercobra. About OPFOR units for this USMC mod – I don't know if there is any point in making some stand alone units to go up against your marines. Any guerillas would look a bit odd – I mean, why would you want to use LAV-AD or LAV-AT against partisans? It's not like they would have gunships or plenty of MBTs. On the other hand, IMHO a virtual World War III – EAST vs WEAST would be a perfect setting for your mod. Here players would have to fight against the best (or the second best, some folks won't agree with me) armed forces in the world – the great and mighty Russian Army. I think it's a lot more fun than yet another Resistance-style campaign. Besides, lots of ex-Soviet units and vehicles are already completed. About this absolutely fantastic US NAVY version of the Super Staillion... is it just a transport or can it do something else? I don't know... someting anti-submarine maybe? But it's not like we have any good submarines... Best wishes!
-
Okay, I get it - you want to make new USMC infantry models, but do you also plan to make a new weapon pack, or will you use something that is already done? And another question - the LAV with a mortar... does it work? Did you use the Chain of Commnad's UA engine or something else?
-
No Supercobras in a USMC mod? Now that is something REALLY unusual! But you guys can do whatever you want... I am not such a big fan of American stuff anyway. All I want is some good USMC units to fight against my VDV forces. Best wishes! Can't wait to read that unit list you have mentioned.
-
a bit offtop... To: SPQR - Operation Frenchpoint are maing THIS unit? (see your advisor's logo) My God... good luck guys, I hope you will be able to complete it!
-
Outstanding!!! Just curious... any plans for Striker or Eland (did I spell that right?) aka AML-90?
-
any USMC or Army Supercobras in development?
-
didn't the US Army once wanted to make one version of the M60 with a 120mm gun and better armor+ERA ? some general info about M60... http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m60.htm
-
Is that a minigun on the last pics ? Very-very interesting!
-
"some addon makers would get a little perturbed when they post their work and %90 of the comments end up being request for something else instead of what he is currently making." - I agree. Let's just wait and see. Still, in the long run I suppose it would be a good idea to do something with the entire old Sigma US tanks pack. It was a very good pack at the time it was released, but things change...
