no, i'm not hitting either -- i use the mouse wheel. if i were to sit back with my hands away from the computer for long enough, it would still do it, so i don't think it's an input error either... but what do i know? lol.

ok, i have a weird problem. my game will work fine when i first install it... but then after i play it for a bit, it starts randomly doing functions which are in the middle click menu. i am not hitting enter i assure you, i have also tried with other mice. i would like to say that i do not own an illegal copy of the gamel; it's paid in full, and i have not cracked it or modified the exe in any way (or used any kind of trainers for it). i do run the FDF mod, but that is i think the only unofficial thing on my game. the only reason i say this is because some people suggested that it might be fade protection -- though i highly doubt that. i did look for other things while playing such as easier deaths, stronger enimies, and decreased accuracy -- all described earlier as signs of fade protection kicking in -- and none of them were evident (or atleast they weren't obvious enough that i could notice it). i am running windows xp, and i have a logitech mouse and keyboard. i am not sure what other information you would need in order to figure out how to help me with my problem, but ask for it and i will provide it. it may be worth noting that my keyboard and mouse perform flawlessly when outside of the game and in other applications. also, i have a friend with the exact same mods installed as i do, and he has never had this problem. another thing i would like to add is that i sent my player configuration file to a friend who mods ofp, and he didn't experiance the problem either. he suggested trying to put the game in windows 98 compatability mode, but that made the game unable to launch. well, i think that's all i can remember... i tried to be as detailed as possible, but if you need more explanation, just say so. thanks for your time and trouble. EDIT: i have also read the FAQ, i didn't find my problem there. sorry if it's already been listed, but i did not find it. it may be worth mentioning that i played the entire campaign of ofp cold war crisis in single player and never encountered this issue, but when i installed the resistance mod and all the rest it seems to have this problem. i have patched with all the latest patches and so forth. i have even tried the beta version.
