Proximity-fuse script for the M830A1 shell finally completed, thanks to everyone who helped with this one. I'm gonna post a video later on...

But that's not like a M1A1 looks like. We're working on a M1A2, which is a way different... Main outer differences are the missing CITV and the different smoke dischargers. This M1A1 (FEP) also got a MCD, which seems to be covered. I'm sorry due the lack of information and pictures found on the inet and the already to high polycount we decided against that TUSK upgrade.

Just a small progress update.

Remember, they're made by Fishkopp. The whole M1 project is based on Fishkopp's original USMC M1A1's. Thank him, thank him that he allowed us to modify the tanks. You're sure the USMC does use M1A2's? They got already. Inquisitor is working on it. Just have a look at Fishkopps Desert M1A1's, pictures float around in this forum. The M1A2 is compatible with all the tanks using the Sigma-6 armor system. No changes necessary.

The problem: I can't increase or decrease the indirecthitrange of _Bull. That's why I wanted to create the "INQ_Mpat120_AB" at the position and let it explode instead of the normal _Bull. Indirecthitranges of both shells are different, the INQ_Mpat120_AB just should affect airvehicles and be harmless for groundvehicles.

Ok thanks for your input, it's working now. Just another question: Is the _helper still needed now? Because the "FxExploGround1" created at the _Bull position is strong enough to blow up every helicopter. And there is still some explosion on the ground, where does that come from? I'm no scripting genius, so I don't know how to get rid of that. :-/

I don't know. It depends on Inquisitor, need to talk to him, maybe he wanna join me again and help to create some new textures... but can't tell you atm. Yeah, or it was that way. I wish Armed Assault would bring some more realistic damage system.

You did already, you compare this with reality, but it's OFP, it's not based on 100% realism, I've read a post somewhere made by a moderator, can't remember who it was but he told you the same. And no I'm not going to discuss about which tank is better or something like this. It's just about the addon we released, nothing else.

Overpowered in comparison to what? No offence, but we don't have a integrated armor value system yet, so what shall I do in your opinion . Sure, CAVS is in the works, but which addon are already using this system? I guess not enough to compare any armor values. Sure it's overpowered if you fight against BIS vehicles but the M1A2 isn't supposed to do that at all. The current version fits the RHS T80 pack very well since they are based on the same armor value system (Sigma-6's one). TermiPete once said he'll include the M1A2 in his CAVS config but that hasn't happened yet. So please don't moan about the armor values all the time, I'm trying my best to get it as compatible as possible. Due the lack of a realistic damage system, that's not always possible. With kind regards King Homer PS: Anyone out there who could help me with some scripting problems? T_D who helped me to create the majority of the scripts is very busy at the moment...

I guess you deleted a ; or something like this by mistake. Better check it again, or re-download the tank again and then replace the config again and change the ammovalues again. To inform you: I added a unique loadout script for the M1, with that you can wether choose an AT or AP loadout and if you don't like it you can stay with the normal MP loadout.

The T-55QM2 as its known uses the 125mm gun from a T-72 and its pictured in the first of those pics. The T-72Z is an Iranian modification and is as you say in the second pic. So that's how the T55QM2 looks like, and what about the T55QM? I searched the whole Inet, but didn't find one image.

Okay to continue the discussion about the modified T55's, maybe you can help me to identify this one: The picture says it's a T72Z, but it's not meant to be the Iranian Type 72Z with 105mm gun, is it? The Type 72Z should look like this, so I ask myself, what tank is it on the first picture?

Overpowered - yes - but only the version 2.00. Version 2.5 is WIP. It will include downscaled values to fit the RHS tanks/Sigma's tanks and also a CAVS version will be featured... and some other cool stuff we're currently working on.

You can't call it MP5A2/A3/SD3, then you need to change the whole triggergroup/handgrip part. MP5A4: MP5A2 (with custom Navy-MFH): But hey, I don't wanna start a MP5 discussion here.

Or you could call it the MP5SD3 like the rest of the world does No, MP5SD3 uses the old S-E-F triggeroup and the right-handed only handgrip. It was replaced by the MP5SD6.
