    I agree. Im getting some effects like casings rolling down the hill etc but 0 explosion effects. 0 fire, 0 burnign soldiers.

    Here is another Mirror - (Courtesy of twcrash from techwarriorz). This happens because you choose the option n1 (Direct 3D) during the installation process whereas you have to choose the option n2 (3D HWTL). To fix this: - Open \@project85\Dta\ folder. - Erase the following files:         - Data.pbo         - Data3d.pbo         - HWTL (Only if it exists) - Run the Launcher once again and this time, choose the Option n2 (3D HWTL). Keep using this one please, because it is not only a simple executable file but it acts as an installer as well as it installs the sky pack elements. What distance please? I will check this out. It wasn't possible to fix this due to the lack of time as it wasn't on my list of bugs but this will be fixed with the next incoming patch. And thanks for the nice words, Regards, TB Really strange.  I still don't get the fire/explosion effects even after I delete those files and re-setup the replacement pack choosing option 2.  I dont have the files you mentioned under the DTA directory by the way.  I do have a HWTL folder in the DTA directory though.  Inside that folder are the 2 files you mentioned (Data3d.pbo and Data.pbo's.).  They are 65196KB and 105360KB respectively.  I tried copying them into the DTA directory but that had no effect.  Anyone else having this problem?  By the way, my mod directory is also called @ffsx85. Dont get me wrong though, I do get a flash when the satchels detonate, just no fire effect afterwards.  Previously guys in the APC;s would run out on fire (of course I would shoot them to put them out of their misery) and the vehicles would have secondary explosions that sent burning pieces of metal in all directions. This IS my first time with this mod though. I am speaking of your previous mod's effects of course (FFUR-SLX 2007 v2.5). Maybe I should have been a bit clearer.

    Great mod. Â I love the fact that is improves upon, rather than changing the original game and era. Â Very nice. Â Its a fitting final epsiode to this great mod. Â Questions: Â Were the purdy fire and explosion effects removed or is my install porked? Â Setting off the satchels in bomberman usually creates a nice fireworks and smoke display. Â This doesnt happen anymore. Â I liked the small secondary explosions in the previous mod as the burned out vehicles cooked off. Is it necessary to add the @slx notation after the end of the shortcut properties? I noticed it said to do that after the extras pack finsished installing. Im just using the shortcut provided in the ffur directory.

    OK, I dont mean to be thick here but just to be straight: I can delete the previous 2.5 patch (i archive them) as this one is all inclusive? I ask becasue the previous 2.5 patch is 243 megs while this one is only 192ish. Seems strange.

    Make sure you change the install path in the installer. It defalts to Operaton Flashpoint (with a space). Take the space out. The OPFlashpoint directory has no space. (at least with my install).

    Can these be installed over the existing FFUR 2007 1.01 (patched)/SamotH_FFUR2007_Selection_EXTRA_PACK.rar install? Â Or should I start over? Â Should both patches be applied or is the 1.02 all inclusive? Is the extra pack also all inclusive with the last one? Oh yeah....thanks! Unbelievalble work man!
  13. Is it possible that this broke the missions? The Bomberman mission doesnt seem to work anymore. The convoy doesnt come down the road as usual. Eventually a tank and a couple apc's come down looking for me but they dont follow the road as usual. Makes it all but impossible.
  14. Absolutely amazing work. The animations are awesome! Just played Bomberman....seems like the AI got a complete overhaul. They drag their wounded away....that was a major surprise! Cool! Only one niggling problem, I love the dirt kickup when rounds hit the ground however it seems to kick up in the wrong place. Makes it difficult to tell where the rounds are hitting when looking through the scope. The sound effects are top notch...especially enemy rounds as they fly over your head. Thanks for the work here....truly awesome.

    Nice! I now have the original Tonal campaign as well as this one...they can coexist peacefully right? If I lauch the game with the tonalredux mod folder (i use the ofp mod laucher) and select the tonal campaign, it will use the new island and not the old one right? I also get a script error when trying to run the African road mission. : Script \facetex2\mix_all_african_faces.sqs not found. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I cant find that file anywhere.

  19. SOrry to ask this...since no one else has I presume its a dumb question but.... Do I put the islandpack, samak and usmc gaia in the @wgl5 folder in my main ofp folder or do they go directly into the ofp folder istelf?

    Thi smight have been addressed on one of the previous pages here but I cant find it. I use the OFP Mod Launcher for all my mods and am terrified of running an .exe into my ofp directory...its nice and clean and I prefer to manually install mods. Anyways...I couldnt extract the exe with winrar so I installed it onto my desktop and copied the ffur2006 directory into my ofp directory. Using the mod launcher, the mod seems to work perfectly. What Im wondering is will I miss anything in the mod by doing it this way? I noticed there is an ,exe provided to launch the mod...Im not using it. Im going to begin a campaign and dont want to find out that this doesnt work widway through. Anyone tried this? So far it seems to work well. I did this with the FDF mod too..no problems. If I install the FFUR2006 addons such as the replacement skies and textures into the FFUR firectory rather than my default OFP directory, will this work? The readme to the Islands Pack says to install into the default OFP directory and overwrite the original files. I would rather not overwrite my default textures but just use them when I play FFUR.
  23. Sorry to be off topic here but I just had to say Thanks. This is, without a doubt, the best game that has ever been made. Period. The UA mod is a prime example of what it is capable of. Amazing piece of work guys...bravo! It is beyond me how Ofp never quite got the recognition it deserved. There has yet to be a game developed that offers the degree of freedome that it offers. To this day I still have moments when I say to myself...."holy shit that was cool!" while playing. No other game can do that....and how old is this? Anyways...thanks again for the great mod. YOU GUYS ROCK!
  24. You need to get the hpp in the description file for the mission. Unpbo one of the demo missions and copy the description.ext file into your mission folder OK but any idea why Im the only one that seems to need to do this extra step? Why wouldnt they put this in the readme? Doesnt seem very intutive. ?? On an unrelated note...I noticed the GOTY edition is for sale on Amazon again new. Is there ANY advantage in getting this version over what I already have? I bought the original when it came out and all the addons since.
  25. I keep getting an error that says: Preprocessor failed on file missions\__cur_sp.noe\description.ext - error 1. Anyone know what this means? I just fresh installed op flashpoint, gold upgrade, resistance and 1.96 patch, Nothing else except unified artillery (been waiting for this one for years!
