Russian Federation Units V.2.00
Johnny Bravo replied to Shadow NX's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
The values seem ok to me, and btw the weapons look impressive, after unpboing then I saw that you guys were the first ones to introduce the .rvmat system, congratulations impressive work. True, I've only recentely registered in this forum but i've been visiting it ever since OFP and indeed today the community is a lot smaller. I think the problem is that ARMA is as we all know an OFP improoved, and ARMA 2 seems to repeat the same problem, US army vs all the rest, with some features in between. The AI is has dumb as ever, the game was released with lots of bugs and the worst, it demands for a top notch computer, the cost of upgarding a computer allows yo to buy like 20 games so people probably moved to games they could play which is understandable. Today making addons isn't as easy as it was before so most people have better things to do than to waste hours of their private life making addons for a game and as we know addons keep ARMA alive as it did with ofp so if they die ARMA dies or at least a big part of it vanishes. But, thank god there are still mods like yours that make this game less boring. ty, RHS. -

Doesn't matter much to me really, if you like the leafs let them stay. But I find it very hard to believe that the Russian Army would ever waste time paiting leafs on a disposable RPG be sure those tubes only have a green paint on them and it looks bad. That weapon is ment to be accurate, fast to deploy and disposed imediattely after it, so it's kind of funny to see it painted with leafs. But I don't see it offensive in any way, this is a game if you like the leafs well keep them, who cares really? Edit: Where did you find those pictures from? Probably from an RPG selling company I bet? They must make it look good you know? As I told you, in reality,so on the field they don't use it, I can say for sure than if I saw a cammouflaged RPG in 100 it would be much, but hey no point in arguing if you like it keep it. -

I served the army for some years (25) and I made many drills with Russians, I must say I never saw any leafs on any type of RPGs so I understand why Skaven calls it the gay tube. Those rpgs are ugly tubes not beautiful. Anyway, good luck for this amazing MOD. -

Hehe. Th 6thsense M14 pack started from slightly modiffying Vilas' addon and improving it pice by pice. Even trougth there is not even a single face left from the original one atthe moment I can honestly say: if it wasn't for Vilas there would be no M14 module in 6th sense mod. And not a single nam-era M14 or M21 in entire ArmA (now we have two of both of them!. So I guess you are dooing a very good job mate. But you could use better muzzle flash, one that doesn't form a cross when you look via the sights. I - for one - took the OFP BiS one and mendled with it a bit and I stick to it. I think you forgot the M14 made by Skaven
