Hmmm, I'm having some major problems to get my joystick (which I had happily and perfectly working with 1.05) working- even registering in 1.08; can anyone help me out?

The co-pilot can advertise you if I see the incoming missile Well, there is no co-pilot in an A-10. But as I said, the only way to know that you've been fired at by an infared missile is by a 'tally' (visual) on the shot. Also, I forgot to mention, chaff would be extremely pointless in this game, as no missiles are radar guided and the AAA isn't either.

Guys, guys Frederf is right, you guys are overthinking this. Even though all aircraft does have version of a RWR (Radar Warning Receiver) it is exactly that. It can only warn against threats that have their radar up and are close enough. And to my knowledge, nothing in armA uses a real Radar to bring down or track air threats. Also, flares would only help IF you can see or someone tells you of the missile launch, otherwise it would have to be complete 100% lucky guess; because NOTHING can warn you from an Infared missile launch (which is all armA shoots, ____to air missile-wise). That's why you see A-10s and such in real life launching tonnes of flares after they go in hot.

I love physics just as much as the next guy, but it is hard to calculate the equations while flying.

Well it kind of depends. If there was say another civil war, I probably would still do it, but still I would think about it. Now, over in Iraq/Afghanistan- for example- I'd have no problem killing terrorists and insurgents with AKs and RPGs in hand, at all.

TOW != Javelin. The TOW is like the opposite of the Javelin. The TOW guides via wires, and you basically set the sights on where you want it to hit, and it goes there, but you can move it; and you also have to keep it there during the duration of the flight. The Javelin you get the seeker head locked on, fire and move. Although, the Javelin needs MAJOR work- like you said it should have the capability to do both attacks and please, for the love of Jesus H. Christ, an image for it. Also a sight too!!! -

Did they make the TOWs guidable? -
WEAK!! Man, flying choppers was probably the best part of the game, save for the overreaction to speed. Airplanes could use a lot of work; but man, they've got to keep the choppers real.

Excellent, the write up looks like something out of even the Falcon 4: Allied Force manual. Now if only for a weapons/targeting with the AV-8B write up
