For map editors some kind of "brush" tool would be useful. Say, you could select brush size and what to "paint", for example forest, bushes, fields and then it would generate the objects randomly to the brushed area. That way the editor wouldn't have to randomly place every single tree and bush himself. Oh, and ground block sizes should be smaller. Right now they're way too big, you can't make ditches and trenches and such now.

Shell TTL really needs to be changed. It's the main problem for creating artillery units, you can't shoot much further than 800m right now with a mortar.

Okay, the fact why it didn't work is that the parser wants the http:// in the beginning and .zip or .rar in the end of the URL. I guess I forgot to add that to the error message. Basically this is only that people wouldn't post any crap to the site, it's only a security matter (although we still manually accept every mission, but you can never be too careful with these things). I'm also planning to add a quick check for the uploaded files to make sure it's really an archive (wouldn't want anyone to post a harmful .exe or such). So, it's basically just a matter of your own good ;) but I can always override it myself, so if you have no other way to distribute the file than a dynamic URL, then contact me personally (Jusas, address can be found from the info page) and I will do it for you.

The netcode isn't so bad. It just pretty much depends on your own connection, the server connection, the server location, the server hardware and your hardware. It all sums up. If you're trying to play on a low-end server with a mediocre connection, the people nearby probably have an ok connection but the far-away ones don't, plus the hardware issue makes it even worse for them. Usually most of the dedicated servers have good hardware and a fast connection so that would be the no.1 choice. You shouldn't trust on servers set up by players, it might well be that their connection isn't as good as it should and the server gets bogged down. Yet another issue of course is hardware and the number of AI units...

It is done!

So few entries? I'd had expected full ten..

They only tell you what they want you to see, and no more. Sometimes they even lie just to get support, we've seen that in Iraq... There's just so much going on behind the scenes with the intelligence agencies that we don't know of.

I'll notify here when it's done.

Commenting has been added. Feel free to give some constructive criticism to the mission makers I'll see if I can make the external mission linking today as well.

Now why didn't I think of that... I'll add the option to host the files yourself if they go over the limit. Good idea. Wait a day or two and you'll be able to submit your missions Thanks for bringing this out.

It is possible. For example, FDFMOD Ranger UAV is unmanned, it can be controlled but it is unmanned.

Here's my share! "Another batch of Hornets taking off for a local combat excersize. While there's no time to rest for the ground crew, the ground control officer is watching the takeoff and he never ceases to amaze the short takeoff capability of the new fighter. " http://jusas.3dgl.info/tmp/hornets.jpg Image file size over 100kb.

I still don't get the idea of reduced RPG/LAW damage. Yes, they're disposable but the simulation is already done fairly well in OFP... the reload time is about the same as preparing another RPG for firing. Usually AT-soldiers carry more than just one RPG/LAW, two or three at least around here. Only one would be pretty useless if you missed. It shouldn't take three RPG's to get rid of one APC in my opinion.
