I just realised the file I uploaded was missing a bunch of textures because I hadn't properly mapped them into Flashpoint and just had the textures lying in open directories within the Flashpoint game directory. Am uploading these now. Will give you a yell when I'm done. *edit* here are the missing textures, plus a config file showing you how to add the voice identities after you have added the new folders to the Voice.PBO (you will then need to either used the setidentity for the player or NPC in either the init line or the Mission file. http://rapidshare.com/files....ar.html As I mentioned before this is in no way a finished addon, and only addon makers will understand how to get this stuff up and running because it's all been broken apart. At some point I will try to release a stand alone addon, but I doubt I will ever get the time. So in the meantime - what was my project is now donated to you. Use or not use. Thunderbird are you interested in implenting some female faces/ (using a female head model) and some female radio voices? I have all the necessary stuff (faces and voices all done up prerecorded and waiting to go). I've just never implemented it into any real mod before, just messed around with my own OFP settings. Let me know if you're interested because I'm quite happy to donate the raw materials to the last great mod of OFP.

I'll be VERY blunt. 1. Â Let's face it, nobody in the Middle East liked Israel, even before this mess started. Â Arabs have always disliked Israelis for obvious reasons - that can never be swayed. Â The only reason Israel could have survived the numerous attacks on its state from Arab aggressors was military support from the US and the EU. Â They were doing fine, they had Palestine under control, but now they've decided to launch a ground war against Lebanon - another thorn in the side of Israel. Â But it was just a thorn, not an all out threat to the existence of the Israeli state. Â But this war is pulling Israel as a state into question. Â 2. Â Current Israeli incursions and airstrikes into Lebanese territory are now polarising previous Arab/Islamic moderates to hate Israel - en masse. Â And not just a disorganised rabble, but a unification of Islamic and Arab factions all pointing to the annihilation of Israel. Â You can scream stupid ignorant crys of "anti-semetic" all you want, but the Arab world is now condemning Israel's actions - soon they will condemn the whole state itself - because Israel does not understand the concept of proportional response. Â Which makes Israel war mongering and barbaric even by western standards - this is dangerous because soon Israel, which was already on a tenuous relationship with the EU, and soon Israel will fall out of favour very fast - nobody likes a bully. Â If the slaughter continues soon the EU will drop support for Israel like a bad stink. Â You cannot have peace with the outbreak of assymetrical warfare. Â Because it means that the only way you can be sure to have peace, is the destruction of the entire Arab world. Â The more bombs fall on Lebanon, the more Arabs just wanna "kill some child-murdering jews". There are ten fold more Arabs than Jews in the whole of the middle east, if Israel doesn't stop the fighting soon, they'd better get used to doing it every day, for the rest of their lives. 3. Expect the chants "Death to Israel" to get stronger and coming from not only Syria, Iraq and Iran, but from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and even places like Malaysia, Pakistan and Indonesia. 4. Â Israel has to pull out now, Syria has pledged military support to Lebanon. Â If Israel doesn't, expect Iran to suddenly be injecting a whole lot of money and hardware into Hezbollah OVERTLY, and not just secretly. Â It will rain steel over Israel in the coming months, and it's not just silly towel-headed mumbo jumbo - this is now a multi-state war. 5. If Israel doesn't pull out, the whole state of Israel, left wing, right wing, orthodox, pro war, anti war - will all suffer in a country that is locked in a perpetual state of war, and not just suicide bombers, but actual all out, house to house, running gun battles, showers of al-quasa and Katuyshas. 6. Â Israel has the bomb, (In case you forgot) and the first country they'll use it on is Iran. Â And nowadays, it seems Israel is that reckless. Â And if it does, well. Â You can pretty much strike Israel and all other Arab countries off the map and just ignore it for say... a thousand years. Â And don't expect even the US to condone such a blatantly destructive act of stupidity - which seems to be growing amongst the Israeli government. 5. The ball is in Israel's court. Â This is fact. Â They can whine all they want, but they're the ones with superior fire-power - as of right now - ergo, they have the luxury of being able to negotiate a peace treaty at gunpoint. Â Sure not the best circumstances for peace, but that's the best they can do at this point. Â But they can't negotiate if they continue to move forces into Lebanon, bomb cities and kill innocents (under the cowards umbrella of "Hezbollah forced us to bomb civilians" - well that makes the IDF just as BAD if not worse than Hezbollah) Â which is why Israel has lost all credibility not just amongst Arab nations, but amongst growing number of western nations too. Iran is smiling as Israel's support reaches rock bottom. Iran definitely wants a war with Israel, they have repeatedly stated that they want to wipe Israel off the map. But they can't do it themselves, not without other Arab nations. Why do you think Iran is funding Hezbollah? You think they care about the welfare Lebanon, or that of Hezobollah? No of course not. They wish to use Lebanon as a recruitment drive for all Arab nations to focus on the goal of the destruction of Israel - under the guise of "the pacification" of Israel to appease the conciences of moderate Islamic governments. Iran worse than Israel - Iran won't settle for peace with Israel, they want war - a purifying holy war against Israel, but Israel is falling into the trap of giving Iran more regional support in its cold war with Israel. Right now it is words, but soon it will be guns, rockets, missles, soldiers and shelling. If Israel's attitude towards resolution of the situation doesn't change soon, Israel will be all alone with a radical Iran, deep in the mess that Iran helped and Israel itself created. Â Israel cannot decry the actions of monsters when Israel itself commits the very atrocities it decries in front of the world's eyes. Remember people sympathise with Israel because its people have suffered much not only at the hands of Arabs, but at the hands of Europeans. However that sympathy and guilt only stretches so far. And if that happens, may God truly be with Israel. Â Because peace certainly never will be.

There is no solution, the most you could ask for is an uneasy ceasefire (with the occasional odd angry shot between nations). There never will be a solution as long as people refuse to consider that people need to start making concessions rather than ultimatums. If Israel continues bombing, Lebanon is fubar. But diplomacy will be dead forever. Israel will also be fubar internationally and many countries will pull support - not all, but a large number of countries. And once Iran and Syria is finally pushed into the conflict (And if things keep going this way, it will.) it will be a goddam bloodbath on both sides because moderate Muslims will feel the need to drop what they're doing and kill Jews. And moderate Jews will drop what they're doing and kill Muslims. So blow each other up already. And make sure you all kill as many of your stupid kind as possible. The rest of the world is quite happy to watch you all destroy each other for the sake of revenge, religion and other things that sane people realise - aren't worth killing for. We'll go back to our beds after watching your folly on TV, while you idiots are still lobbing missiles, bombs, bullets and grenades at each other. Just keep your goddam fanatic religious mess be it extremist Jews, Muslims or Christians alike, out of my country, out of any country that believes everyone can co-exist peacefully without the need for petty walls, borders and wars. If they're guilty and it's likely that they are, then they are human waste, and should be disposed of. Iraq's a mess and military action was never the smartest way of getting rid of Saddam Hussein. AFIAK the only children units would be included in the old Singapore Armed Forces Mod. They're just smaller scaled units, and have some cargo placement issues when they're sitting in a vehicle. Otherwise no, there aren't any children addons, mainly due to addon maker community not wanting negative press for making things that allow you to gun down kids... you know - sensationalist press abounds with that sort of thing.

Errrm, I tried this out last night, can I just say, this addon is quite amazing. Â It's the most impressive use of multi-turrent scripting I've seen thus far. Â (Frigates and destroyers are nice but we want infantry level skirmishes dammit!! Nothing beats the 350 degrees firing rapid assault power that this craft has. (If you're the driver it helps to use the "Engage at will" function so units are more likey to attack when they've got a bead on an enemy target.) We definitely need some eastern bloc counterpart for this thing, (At the moment I'm happy just pitting two craft - one commanded by "probability presence 0" OPFOR - against each other). Just a note -> perhaps give the default mini gunner (default player gunner - not the scripted turrents - located on the starboard bow) Â a larger firing cone, more vertical traverse to engage low flying aircraft and more horizontal traverse towards port to lay forward covering fire across the bow. Â (None of the firing cone AI or otherwise cover the prow and you can end up getting shot heading directly to the target without being able to find a decent firing solution). Â Also dare I ask if this works in multiplayer? Anyway GREAT F&*KING WORK YOU GODDAM TALENTED BASTARD.... J out.

You'll need to change the civillian units to a different side, say either resistance or east if you are playing west, or west or resistance if you are east. The easiest way to do that, is to group the civilians under a high ranking unit like a solider with a Colnel rank. After doing so, select the enemy soldier group leader and set the "unit presence setting to 0" This way the soldier will be deleted but the civilians will be aligned to the enemy side. And then you will be free to commit all the war crimes you want. So errm.. hooray?

Make them hum as well!!! Lots of sound samples of high voltage power lines humming on the net - shouldn't be too hard to add an *.ogg or *.wss sound effect for this addon.

Yeah will release before ArmA hopefully. Â Could release now, but I'm just not happy with some of the models, plus I have to ask permission for some parts of the models... Anyway just some screens. Female soldiers in flashpoint have been a long term project of mine... Perhaps we should consolidate our forces???

A year ago, my brother and I were playing paintball on Desert Island over LAN before a camping trip while we were waiting for our ride. We stopped after several matches, and left the game on to have some breakfast. Our lift arrived and we forgot that we left the game on. 4 days later we come back and the game's still running... thankfully we didn't leave the screens on (force of habit, my parents were always finicky about power bills) so no burn. We did play some more the same match after we washed. Final score. West 44 East 26 So that's about err... at least 96 hours Not the longest "game" per se, but I guess it's the longest time we've ever left flashpoint run on our computers...
