Befor you jump the gun it might be so simple as they have been inspired by the plenthora of VBS screens to do similar textures/models? But exactly what is it you think look like its from VBS Sniper Skull? Binoculars and NOD's?

I have the same soundchip (SoundMax ADI AD1985) on my P4C800 MoBo and have no trouble with the tank gun sounds. I even find the sounds to be very nice, especially the fading rolling echo of the 125 mm. (version 1.0) These units custom animations work very well with other bullpup design weapons and still look good with regular weapons. Was a p.o.c. to switch them into my normal custom ofp anim.pbo. I really appriciate these as now the OpFp units and the PUKF hold their weapons in a very good manner. (although the "vultureneck" anim on the 1.1 PUKF soldier is still there. Got to figure out how to remove that also. )

Anyone found the WZ-10 Attack Helicopter featuring in their video?

Seems to be configured like a boat. It stopped when i drove it up on land, though i got rather far inland. Anyone else get a fatal OFP crash to desktop if they place Army/SoldierA in the Editor?

This is a really good addon pack. Lots of diversity in it. A real keeper! The weapon models and textures are really crisp. A nice feature, to mention one out of many, is the Engineer soldier that can construct an obstacle.

Didn't mean to sound so rudely "accusing" in my question Laser, sorry about that. Not sure if it's the perspective or the model but maybe the neckpart that run from ear to ear could be slightly more bulged/rounded? Now it looks a bit to stright vertical to me. A bit more rounded like this --> ) . Right now it looks more like this --> | . I can already picture these guys deploying from BAS Blackhawks and Chinooks.

The problem is not only crew coordination, the main problem is that the AI fires from slightly outside the viewdistance of OFP. And with accuracy out of this world. That coupled with the AI radar makes it almost impossible to ambush the AI tanks even from a concealed hulldown position. Though, KeyCat have made a script to get ride of this, even if it is not tuned fully yet and it is quite resource heavy at the moment. But even with its shortcommings it makes for better simulation then the silllyness of standard ofp armor combat. Looking forward to try it with the new T-80's

If I may make som suggestions for alteration and expansion to a new version of this excellent pack: Motorized Infantry *Soldiers No backpack, otherwise as current model *Officer No change from current model. (Love the pilotka ) Naval Infantry *Soldiers: No backpack, black helmet with NI emblem on the side *Officer: Black beret, otherwise as current officer model VDV *Soldiers Helmet with camonet like in the RF motoriezed pack (non removable),combat jumpboots, backpack like current model. *Officer Blue VDV beret, combat jumpboots otherwise same as current officer model. Spetsnaz Additional model of Spetsnaz with the hood of the kzm suit pulled up (like HYK did with his winter suits) *Sniper Same model as in the RF Motorized infantry pack. (keep the SVD Rifleman also though ) White snow suit models of the above would be an extreme bonus. But even without snowsuits the suggestions above would turn this into the East side HYK pack for the soviet era. (which is the one that interest me in OFP)

Nice, finally some opponents to use with HYK's 85 soldiers Short question, is it possible to toggle the hidden selections (ie backpack and helmet/cap? ) via the init line?

This was one of those addons that came out of nowere and thoroughly impressed me. Excellent work CSJ.

Snypa, the attack done in the Battlefields mission is nothing short of a WW1 charge into a mg trench... And we all know how those mostly ended. I did a little test where I placed 1 sqd och HYK '85 (JAM, but not HD) in a defence position in a litte depression with a cluster of trees and bushes. The HYK soldiers open up at some 250 meters, starting with the 60 gunner, and the russians gett massacered every time. They manage to fire back but they seldom hit anything and often legg it just to get shot in the back running away. They might be accurate in their shooting but they are not unbeatble, unless you try WW1 "tactics" on them.

Klasse! That is some real fancy modell work. The Weazel is imo one of the modern battlefields coolest vehicles.

Double the ram and you have a nice machine to run OFP with. Although I'm not sure of what graphic card you use. I have a Pentium IV 2.8 (FSB 800), 1024 mb DDR RAM, Radeon 9800 Pro (128 mb) and it runs OFP magnificently. A rig similar to that should be rather affordable today. -

Nice work boys I really like the camoflauged weapons. Just a little slight bug I stumbled over; The F89 mag in the action menu says 300 rounds, should be 200. -

Delta Hawk, Since I did that little explanation I totally resent being called a dumb 18 year old, especially since it was 12 years ago that I managed to pass that milestone age. Flaming someone like that is bad style. Your list was very good and informative though, with 2 small addenums needed. What you listed are descibed as Special Operations Forces in the CoC, which you should have put instead of putting "special forces". Special Forces is still a specific unit in offical nomenclature, US Army Special Forces ie those also nicknamed Green berets just as you too described. And the USMC have sent a detatchment from Force Recon to SOCOM on a trial basis. What ever came of that I don't know. Now this is far of topic, kind of, so lets get back on track again: I'd like to voice for removable backpacks as suggested above, and also inclusion of a radio item would be very nice, especially for the players ability or inability to call for help based on the radios precense or not. -

The MAP weapon pack is "lacking" several 80's weapons, chiefly the M16A2 with M203. Since Hyk's pack covers this era too this becomes an important issue.
