It depends if you have any other modelling experience... It took me a few days to figure out most of O2 but i had some experience with milkshape which is pretty similar. The hardest part for me was learning how to move the camera. btw: ALT+RMB= ROTATE AND PITCH ALT+RMB+LMB= ZOOM IN/OUT ALT+LMB= PAN just in case u didn't know and heres a link to some tutorials- Brsseb's page

Oh i see... so your making a tank? Im not too clued up on tanks myself, i have an idea of a jeep with a mounted weapons tho. You probably have to put the memory points on the gun as well as the vehicle, i think theres probably one that makes it spin around but i don't know that.

Multiple weapons? i don't know what you mean... ok, heres a simple memory lod for a weapon- Make a new lod and change it to memory by right clicking on it and selecting properties. First place a vertex at the end of the barrel of your gun. Â while its selected right click in the selection box (make sure its turned on), select "new" and type "usti hlavne" without the brackets. Then place a vertex at the other end of the barrel, (use the lock X axis to be more accurate, it should be inline with the first vertex) and do what it says above, but this time call it "konec hlavne" instead of "usti hlavne". Now the gun can fire right. But we also need to indicate where the gun should spit out the empty cartridges. Just like the barrel, we need a start and stop position since the cartrides are "shot" out of the gun. Their placement isnt all that important, so I just give you a 4-view picture of how I positioned them. Save each of them as selections named as in picture. "Nabojnice" means cartridge-case in english. hmm... i've got a feeling that its not exactly what you want but anyway... its there for anyone i guess.

You mean the memory lod? The points are just vertices which you name czech words to make them into special points. Or if you don't have a clue what im saying go to Brsseb's tutorial page Have a look through tutorial 2 and 3, theres some simple things about the memory lod in there. Zwadar made a page that had loads of info on it but i lost the link... damn

I would like to know this too... my best guess is to put 2 vertices names kavlec somethings or whatever the name is and script some kind of alternate firing from each vertex. I've not tried it yet, and im not very good at scripting either. Porbably wouldn't work anyway

Im having problems with texturing
Jazzking replied to MadAussieJnr's topic in OFP : OXYGEN BEGINNERS
Also remember- Â O2 will only apply the texture in the active window, it will only apply the texture from the direction of the active window too. Â for example if your in left view (theres a bold box around the active view) and you have the texture in left view then it will apply that texture from the left when you press B. If your in front view and the texture is in top view and you press B then it'll say "no texture loaded" if there is no texture in front view. BTW: you can activate a view safely by pressing ALT+RMB over the view/window/box. BTW: plz don't tell me if you already knew that.
