I wouldn't be adding rust streaks and metal chips all over the wings if I were you. The Horten Ho 229A-1 was predominantly made of plywood over a welded tube steel frame. Metal sheet parts were used around the cockpit, engine intakes, the engine covers and the "duck tail" behind the engine exhausts. Hope this helps.

Guys, This mod is truly awesome! Great textures, models and units. It makes that POS Operation Gulf War Crapfest pale into mediocrity. JV44

Just about every ethical webmaster has dumped the Desert Storm Mod. Giaky and his band of thieves have finally been ostracised by the greater OFP community. Hopefully this is the last wee see of the DS BS! JV44

A new mod? there is nothing "NEW" about it. They have done nothing more than steal work of others. Plagiarists are bottom feeding scum suckers that never had an original idea in their pathetic lives. I am sure that Satchel, Marfy and numerous others, whose work has been ripped off, would agree. I must say, that this mod is "unique", as it contains the highest concentration of stolen work I have seen to date. Don't waste the bandwith downloading this POS, even better, boycott the entire mod, maybe then he will get the message! Â JV44

Correct me if I am wrong, please. I have seen lots of "renders" and "3DZ" from things like Studio Max and lightwave on these "Mod builders" site. They look great, magnifique! BUT!, what do they look like in the game? Probably nothing like the "hi-res", ginormous "poly-count" renders that they have been showing. Am I worng? or will they look as good as they seem? JV44

All, I was an M113 LRV (Light Reconnaisance Vehicle) crewman in the Aussie army for 5 years. Our "buckets" have a Cadillac Gage T-50 .30/.50cal combo turret mounted on top so they are a little "top heavy". The main steering was done by two levers, pull left lever, vehicle goes left, pull right lever vehicle goes right. At slow speeds, under 10kph there were two "pivot" levers mounted above the steering levers. These were used to pivot turn the vehicle in its own length at slow speeds but if you pulled both levers at same time it would emergency stop the vehicle. We had some of our "buckets" flip over when the pivots were used at speeds in excess of 20kph and a number of crewmen killed! JV44

The Carl Gustaf, or as we in the Australian Army liked to call it the, "Charlie Guts Ache", is in service with many Nato countries. The Poms used it to sink an Argie sub during the Falklands. It is a beast to lug around. I know, I carried one for 3 weeks on and off during my Anti Tank training back in 80, thats 1980 for you kiddies! It is pretty much useless against tanks like the M1A1 or T-80 but is great as a bunker-buster and against light skin vehicles such as the BRDM and BMP's It would be nice to have Ilumination rounds in OFP. on the real thing you dial in the range you want the flare to pop off by turning the nose cap of the round to the desired setting and whack one up the spout. There is a spirit level type gauge that enables you to elevate the muzzle to the desired trajectory then you just pull the trigger and, whooshka, its away! Whilst the thing is recoiless, the flash and amount of shit the beast throws into the air when you fire it marks your position to every baddy within 200m, making you an excellent target! Brings back memories! JV44

Vipersheart, I too was pissed off at the audacity of Giaky for not giving credit where due. It's time to "out" the bastard! Plagiarism is my greatest pet hate of all time. Having had my own website "strip mined" and then regurgitated, albeit poorly, by some other wanker, I know how you feel! JV44
