I tend to agree on the sound. It also might depend on your soundcard, and if you use hardware acceleration and or EAX, etc. I don't care for the sound much either. I really prefer the sound used with the Nam Pack 2 Hueys (and the UH-1H Special Ops by SelectThis)... Even if it's not absolutely 100% accurate sounding, that sound just works, and has a good, clean sound to it. And that one sounds very much like any real Huey I've ever heard. I think it's also nice when all your Huey's on the battlefield sound pretty much the same. If it's not changed in an update, I'll most likely just swap it with the sound from the Special Ops UH-1H, just for my own personal use. One small bug I've noticed is there are some flashing texture issues when viewed from above through the moving rotors.

I was very happy to discover this addon that seemed to just pop out of nowhere! Can't believe how many variants are included in this pack. The level of detail is great. Thanks for another high-quality addon!

A lot of people in the OFP community have been looking forward to a Marine UH-1N. I've been eager to see one in OFP since seeing some screenshots long ago of one from VBS. This one looks great. From what I've read, it looks like with just a few tweaks here and there, this will be a perfect UH-1N! Really looking forward to the next version.

I've always thought it would be awesome if someone would make a campaign based purely around helo operations in Vietnam. If you need any ideas, check out the books Chickenhawk or Wings of The Eagle.

Until recently, most people would have told you that graphical enhancements like found in the DXDLL mod, were totally out of the question for OFP. So... Who knows what else might be possible. And that being said, there also still isn't any other game that can compete at all levels with OFP. Look at what a big disappointment Soldner turned out to be. Some folks thought that was going to surpass OFP. DON'T Vote Bush '04

You can also get rid of the second mouse pointer by moving the mouse pointer around in one of the top corners directly after launching the game (while you can still see the desktop). Also, having a different resolution on the desktop and the game usually avoids the problem altogether.

You really should pick up a copy of Resistance. It really helps make the game look much better, and adds tons of great game content. Depending on what video card you have, try enabling FSAA and Anisotropic Filtering. That'll really improve the graphics quality! Now, when I disable FSAA, I can't imagine how I ever played like that.

What ever happened to this helo? It looked like it was nearly done months ago. I was really looking forward to it.

Yet another excellent helo from BAS! Great work, guys! I can't get the front doors to open. The option doesn't show up on the action menu. If you use: "this animate ["pilotdoorl", 1]; this animate ["pilotdoorr", 1]", the door will be open, but the only way it can be closed is after you get in, it automatically closes. Then it can't be opened or closed again.

Thanks for the mission update. As far as the MH-47 being unrepairable, I just meant that I couldn't bring a repair truck to it, and it was too damaged from the start to move it near a repair truck. Sounds like it's good to go now.
