PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Right, hi all. Some time ago I stopped playing ofp because I had a problem with it and it would not load. However this morning I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole thing, and the problem is still there!!!!!! Let me explain the problem......... Right, here is my preferences screen for operation flashpoint: CWC. Note that it is fine, and in the advanced > textures screen I can select different textures....... However this is my problem...... In the ofp: Resistance preferences> textures I see this.... I cannot select any textures. Then when I try to load the game I get the following error message: Is this a know problem or what? WHAT SHOULD I DO? Note that I have uninstalled the game, cleared the entire ofp folder and re-installed the game and the problem is still there. Is it caused by one of the patches?!?!?!

lol, soz just seen this cos I am experiencing the trouble again..... WHAT PLACEBO?! How is this the wrong place to post it? Why is it spamming? Ok so I didnt need to tell everyone, I was kind of bumping it up cos i still find it useful. Placebo get a life. That was a simple little thing. No need to jump on me about it. get a life m8.

Maybe they've heard rumours sadam is dead or he won't be coming back or something. Maybe he was killed in a firefight but the americans want the show of putting him on parade, because they know that they cant have another Osama Bin Laden. I just think that it would be easy for the americans to lie and say that they have captured sadam like this when they infact havent.

I'm not convinced thats saddam. It would solve a lot of problems for the US if they did 'find' saddam, so i think they are just using some kind of actor/ lookalike, and making it all up. Just like the moon landings.

I think normandy was a teensy bit more of a challenge than gulf war II. The amasing thing about Normandy was that you had ordinary people, not soldiers fighting for their countries interests and for the interests of people all over the world.

I'd come to Prague, if the designers decide to make a release party. But I don't think they'll do it in "czecheslovakia", because this country doesn't exist! oh. Well how the heck do you spell it then? N I think it should be in london, if it was hosted by codemasters, which maybe it should be, it should be in london (cos im asuming codemasters are a british company, but I am probably wrong). And if I met the moderators I would probably 'go missing' shortly after, and then my body would be found washed up by the thames. I seriously think we should have a party

this is the thing that makes us OFP addicts. so many possibilities. yeah thats the best thing about the game. Theres always a million possibilities to each mission. A standard full frontal assault on a town is not necesserily that at all. You could go around the town, put a sniper on a nearby hill and attack from the forest on the other side of the town or whatever. No two goes on operation flashpoint are ever the same. And if you put loads of time into it commanding squads can give you some amasing possibilities.
