I dont know a solution for your probs, but I just want to say that I also have a 8800GTS and it runs like a sweet grandma pie. Â My guess is that it's a driver issue. You should try an older driver.

Played this map 5 min ago in gay bar. Nice map, chap! One tiny thing: You might want to reconcider the para spawn. When all players spawn it is ok and fun, but when you join the game and spawn you are 100% dead meat for the rest: superb map, well done

I think max ping is 100 if you want a decent game without lag & desync

Do you have this only with ArmA or also with other games? Do you use a router?

I have only one 8800GTS What also helped was another video driver. 97.92 did the trick

Because you're a lucky bastard I believe the drivers for the 8800 series are not at their best yet. The video card you have does have good drivers allready. It will not be long before the 8800 series also have good drivers. I pray for that day

What screen res do you play? I have Geforce 8800 GTS 640 MB, Dual Core 2.4, 2 Gb internal, all on very high and screen res 1280x1100. Then I have FPS of 20 in forest. I have to tweak a little to get FPS above 40. My experience is that In MP it is better to set everything low to have advantage over the nmi.

What does your Arma.rpt file report? Your Arma.rpt file is somewhere here: "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA\ARMA.RPT" Open the file with notepad and read out the error message.

All I can say is: Give structured feedback and BIS will apply everything possible in their new patch. At the moment I have the feeling they are just waiting for the 505 release date and have a huge patch right away. Patience my friends
