Hi at all my friend,today i have read this awensome AddoN CAA1 and i have install it... I have open the editor and i have find the Arma1 Maps:eek::eek::eek: It's beautiful,there is a lot of stuf....:eek::eek Now i will play the campaign of Arma 1 on Arma 2,but i have read a lot of guide on armaholic,dev-heaven,but i don't understand nothing... Now I am not an expert modder, and then ask you if you could create a guide for us newbies to help us understand this wonderful world of mod ... I have install CAA1,and i have create a mod folder that i have called Campaign in the main folder of Arma2... I have put the campaign.pbo that i have take from my Arma1 folder,and i have placed in the Campaign folder in Arma 2... I start Arma2 and i chose the campign,but i have this erro message and i return to windows... Error Message; Config: some imput after EndOFile I have put the SP mission and some wors and some not... I apologize for my English,and I ask you to help us,to create this guide,please..

In the Sp mission I can reach 60-80 FPS,why? If i was CPU limited the SP,Editor and Campaign,should have the same fps,or not? The campaign is very buggy but reading the forum, I know that some people with my same spec can play with better FPS,why? Please help me...

Because i have a RamDisk to play Arma 2 smoothly. Now i have this problem,:eek::eek::eek: It's horrible.I don't know what I do... I quit the game by pressing ALT + TAB, and return,to play in good condition... Why?

Please,can anyone that have an Intel Q9650, post how many FPS can reach? Please?

On Arma 1 and 2,the Bis was promised that we could use more than 70 types of weapons,but it is not the true:mad::mad::mad::mad: In the campaign we only use the usual noise weapons,it's boring... You have drawn these weapons PLease let us use in campaign mode which is the most beautiful, and not the editor that is of little or on-line mode. Please in the next patch can you do it,the game will takes on a whole new look. You can never use a Javelin,M107,M16+M203,M24,MP5.eccccccc........ You can use only M4+M203 and RPG,borin,borin,boring,boring PLease do something. I want to play to Arma 2 not OPF Dragon Rising:mad

Hi my friend,i have follow your istruction,but when i do this step: Right click and you have a new option "Pick link source", click on this option then go to the origonal Addons folder in the game directory and go inside to the remaining files. but here is only the Cancel current Pick option... Right click once in the folder and you get a new option "SymbolicLink", click it and this creates the links to all the files simultaneously Why??? I have WinXP32bit,i have splitted my hdd in 3 partitions,and i have formatted all partitions in NTFS mode,include the ramdisk.. Hi my friend i am new user and i have a question for you: I have a quad core Q6600 to 2.6 at 3.8GHz,and when i play in the campaign the cpu load at 55% max,instead in the SP or editor mode,the cpu load at 75-80% and the fps improve so much... Why happens this? This haoppen to you? Bad scripts? Long time ago I had read on this forum, a same problem but I don't remember how it was resolved... Someone remembers something ? Thanks to all my friends.:)

I hope that this bug will correct with the 1.5 Patch...

My spec Is: MB Asus Rampage Formula Cpu Q6600 2.4GHZ@3.8 GHZ Ram 4GB Gpu Evga 295 GTX Xp Pro 32 Bit My configuration:All setting to very high... language="Italian"; adapter=-1; 3D_Performance=-4194304; Resolution_Bpp=32; Resolution_W=1280; Resolution_H=1024; refresh=60; Render_W=1280; Render_H=1024; FSAA=4; postFX=3; HDRPrecision=8; lastDeviceId=""; localVRAM=931143680; nonlocalVRAM=349175807; winX=0; winY=0; winW=1024; winH=738; winDefW=1280; winDefH=1024; In the Editor mode or SP mode I can reach 70 Fps. My Cpu load in Campaign mode is only 36% ever,and in Editor and SP mode reach 80% with few AI(It's a big bug...I hope that BIS will correct it with the 1.5 Patch)

You can test it in editor: if you raise successive the number of AI there is successive lowering the cpu-usage. Thats stupid, but its true. I tested it in the past Arma2 version 1.02. Yes it's the true i have try it:):):) It's a big bug,or not?
