There is a very old map made by Sgt. Gunnery Highway. The layout is excellent, terraforming is quite good as well and is based of a real DEM IIRC. If I were you guys I would base my map off that. You can find it here.

Ruger Mini M14

Yes most of the work is now handed over to the Bushwar mod for Armed Assault. We just weren't able to bring up the time anymore to complete the mod. Me, Hellfish and Ebud are all working close together with the Bushwar mod, so expect something nice for Armed Assault. But some work may get released for OFP still to give some fun on Tonal.

Funny I had the exact same thoughts sometime ago. It shouldn't be hard to make: 4 characters, a van, some M-14's and M-16, and off course some bad guys. However I have the same problem as TeRpEnTiN has:

I believe there are performance issues with using JPG textures, not too sure though. Paa/Pac textures are considered to be the best option. Yes it's mainly performance. It is said that the quality of jpg is better but I think as long as you use a good converter, it won't make much of a difference.

I'll keep modding for OFP until proper tools for ARMA come available. Personally I am not a big fan of all those retextures. They lack realism IMO.

Average units vary from 1500 to 2500 faces. They look good! Love seeing some more decent cop stuff
