    FlashFx Units Replacement pack 5.0!

    Forgive my ignorance, if this has been brought up before. The thread is huge :P Will missle flight paths / counter measures be fixed in future releases? or will it be left as is? I've tried putting 30 AA men on the ground, and every single one of them seems unable to bring down the target. With every missle veering off to the left.

    I actually have a new question: diff3rdPersonView[]={0,0}; What are the two 0's? Single, Multiplayer? Is there a way I could disable squad view without disabling third person altogether?

    I'm wondering, is there a way to disable squad-view during mulitplayer games for all clients? It's never really been an issue. But it's annoying when the enemy knows you're waiting for that BMP to roll over the top of the hill, or hiding behind that building.

    OFP/Win 2000 MP problems

    Alright, system specs first. AMD Athlon 2400+ 256 PC2700 DDR S3 ProSavageDDR ECS L7VMM2 VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter. Alright, I had Windows XP installed for six months without a hitch. Of course as time went on things began to slowdown so I re-formatted and installed Windows 2000 Professional --- That didn't last too long. Long boot times etc. And worst of all I couldn't host Operation Flashpoint games it would freeze on "Creating Client" I thought it might've been because Windows 2000 wasn't designed for gaming in mind. So, I re-install Windows XP w/ DirectX 9 / SP1 etc. ... But i'm still getting the same problem it's still hanging there. I'm running ZoneAlarm (And before I reformatted there were no problems whatsoever with ZoneAlarm and OPF) I even tried uninstalling it (ZoneAlarm). No help. So, new rule. No one say anything about ZoneAlarm, hehe. I'm thinking it's more of a DirectPlay problem since no one can connect to my test-sessions in dxdiag either? I'm exprienced with computers in general so theres no need to waste your time dumbing down the responses ;) Edit: Drivers are all up to date also

    I don't think it should be hard-coded into the game, it doesn't make much sense considering a mission maker could easily include / simulate such things. Resources aren't unlimited ;)

    I can't believe how some of the people are bad-mouthing BIS. I'll simply state what numerous people have already stated it's not a game Look how much the military wastes on training projects around the world and then tell me not it's not affordable -- its a steal.

    I was just wondering what sime of the switches for Operation Flashpoint are ... I know of: -nomap (i'm curious what this does) -nosplash anymore?

    Alright, It's been a week without some Operation Flashpoint multiplayer action and my neck vein is starting to bulge. My friend gets this error: http://denlou.com/error.jpg Edit: You have to copy to link into the browser window for it to work. The error is: Cannot crreate 3D device: Adapter 0 (C.p. Technologies Inc. RADEON 9200SE) FUllscreen Error D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY My friend upgraded his drivers from the ATI website (Radeon 9200SE). However, a different manufacturer made the card. I'm thinking that could be a problem right there, secondly. He can't run OP F BUT he can still run FDF i'm thinking because its because they use different EXEs and one hates his current drivers, is this even possible? He's re-installed and patched up to 1.96. Edit: I don't seem to be able to delete this, I should've searched first :P

    I've got a multi-player mission, basically. We start off in a field. And are ambushed by AI from all directions. After while, helicopters come and are supposed to transport us to a different time. Now, i've got it setup as. Get In & Load Sync'd Get Out & Transport Unload sync'd But it doesn't work in mulitplayer. Only singe, do any of you have any ideas? Edit: I also have an invisble helipad :P

    Ahh, I was playing in a mission that a friend had not completed. And the helicopter was always so low. But thanks. Another problem i'm having is. Two are three people always die. Their chutes turn black. Even though at this drop. I had ejected first without dying.

    I found an empty helicopter. I was the officer so I orderd all my men into the back of the helicopter (CH-47D) excluding one how I made the pilot. I tell the pilot to move to a certain location. However, is there anyway I can tell him to go higher? Ordering everyone to eject at a low altitude doesn't work to well ;)
