Innocent Bystander

Wondering if there are any programs that are newbie friendly? Like runner for q3a engine or hoam for army operations? Basically a window where u set everything up and just starts the server and the goes into the game and join ur server from there. A server u can both host and play on simultanios! Thx for any answeres.

What i really hate (not really,but its annoying) is the waiting on servers,both if ur in there and waiting for ppl to green up or connect,or if you just entred and they just started..... maaaaan...that is so boring. Couldent there be a patched released that made the server admins to choose if they wanted waiting lines or if ppl could join right into battle even if the game been on for awhile? I mean,the only time you really need to wait and cant just jump in is when its classbased and you need certain soldiers for this and that...but most of the time players just goes to the crates and pick up whatever weapon they want. So if im there at the beginning or if i come in when 5 minutes remaining is up to me,not that anyone would notice. Plz BI,make a patch so that we can just connect right into battle.

Härligt grabbar,ser fram imot 1.1 (laddar som en galning) Tänkte frĺga ĺxĺ,kommer det att finnas special styrkor med,typ attack dykare,flygbas jägare,norrlands jägare,kustjägare etc etc. Älskar 1.0 demot och hoppas att en full mod kan se ljuset snart. Hĺll hoppet uppe ĺ jobba pĺ,det finns mĺnga som vill se den här modden i färdigt skick!

Does OPF or the exspansions have any TC mods that i can download? Looking for a desert mod....or any TC mods at all. thx.

Iv downloaded alot of skins and vehicles,but nothing shows up ingame? Lets say i want a Delta force skin,do i just download it and slap it in C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\Addons and it will always be used online?? Or will it be that i may not be able to connect to some servers if im using replaced skin(will the skins be replaced like in Half-life mods or in Q3A?)...will only i see it? I would very much wanna use(and play on desert maps) desert skins. Does anyone know of a server that plays only desert maps and such? thx.

ok ok ok..my bad. BUUUUUUt what about the skins already in the original game? Like the sniper with camo and leafs and stuff on his helmet? Or the black ops with ski masks? Can those be used ingame?

Downloaded them both,they were in EXE files so i just picked the path and off we go. But i cant find the missions anywhere!?? Looked in campaigne,mp and sp...where do the missions for these two mod demos show up? Iv checked both in resistance and ofp. Someone said something about "they are in west..." or something like that!!?? thx for any help. Now im off to sleep.... 7:30am here (been on with ofp since 6pm last evening)

Ok,thx guys! But what about weapons? I saw some kick ass weapons at http://ofp.gamezone.cz/ but what is the point of downloading them if they dosent show up ingame? Are there no way to replace player skins/weapons so that u can use them all the time but only u see them? like in DoD or Q3A?

Here is my system spec: P4 1.3GHz Rambus 256 Geforce 2mx 64mb (yup..it sucks) XP pro Just would like to get some exsplenation about somethings i dont understand: What does hardware T&L do? should i have it on? Multitexturing is?? should i have it on? W-buffer...no idea?? Cloudlets means? Glide and direct 3d...what is it? Also i would like someone with similiar system to tell me what settings are good. When i do autodetect it gives me this: Direct 3d T&L 1024*760 32bit And the game(resistance) runs fine offline...but not online..it gets choppy. About the advanced button..what should i set all the different settings to? What things that i lower will give me the best performance on the different tabs under dvanced. Please give me some good settings based on my system specs plz. Dont matter if the game looks ugly,aslong as it runs smooth. thx.

Great tweak guide..only thing he dident mention was about the frames u can set from ingame options? what should i set mine on? If setting it higher will it cause my game to run slower? Or? thx guys/and gals

Ok thx alot! How about servers with desert maps/missions/skins ? Are there any?

ADSL 700kb and i always ping round 35-50 on the servers i play on.
