Hi Guys thx for your time , great to hear ARMA II Operation Arrowhead (PC DVD) 24.99 -> £14.99 ArmA 2 (PC DVD) 24.99 ->£12.99 and the cheapest Arma2:CO I found around was : Arma2:CO approx. £35 But do you think I ever will get used the Arma2 and not only the Arma2:OA , are there missions out there that needs both to be installed ? Hi As an old OFP and AA fan , It time to invest again :) . but I am in doubt of the ARMA2 : CO (combined operations). Does the ARMA2:CO add anything more compared to buy ARMA2 + ARMA2:OA seperately . Does it actually give me any value for me to get the "old" Arma2 , or are the ARMA2:OA enough ( in terms of CO-OP Serverplay) I understand that there proberly are som singleplayer missions I dont get) . ps. I am just wondering how often this TK guys actually is returning and how often they do a TK "Crawl" to many servers. I see a problem with netcafe's which get their ID banned ,,, Because I can not believe so many idiots put out $50 and and not want to play nice. ?? A suggestion to this Banned list. why delete them , I would instead keep track of how many servers has banned them , Let say a report from 3 , give 3 months. if they after 3 months again do it , banned for 6 months , plz dont trhough away the list , since it will be a good proff in some cases of discussion . But I still thinks that the list should not be public , The people that want the list must sign written paper of some kind of agreement , maybe a kind of clubmembership , otherwise you risk to go again law. I followed this thread with interest... first of all , the methode in ET worked seen from my perspective perfect ... absolutly... It really really seldom I have not been forgiving for my TK... People nows it a fast game and things happens.... mostly you know if people is TK by purpose. and it very very rare I not forgive people... for me in this game is not so much the TK ,, it the team play lack which destroy as much as the TK.... ex CTF , some guys just take all the vehicles and just run direct into fire ... now we have no more vehicles What I really would like was a kind of rating for how many games you have played of AA (grouped in categories) ... most of people who destroy the games are people who just dont like to play AA , and therefore never will have big history of games. I guess the guys destroy it did not buy the game , but playing at netCafe or so. so small history the bigger your chance for getting Banned for TK . so finally the way in ET I think would be very good and easy solution too. by the way , I use the build in list of servers(gamespy) , where do you guys get your servers from ?? , in my list is only 2-3 active servers Best regards Icekiller

Try to make your post understandable next time, and with JIP you dont have to wait for hours in the lobby untill there are enough people and the game starts, i really thought that was what you ment. sry one last comment ... sry OfpForum to be unpolite ,,I really like the game , but as said , I did play it many years ,but got tired to sit and wait in lobby and I said lobby, I ment lobby rigth now I have been waiting 20 min to join a server using JIP ,.. (2 time after finish the progressbar it crashed) not much help . but of cause better than nothing. it was the text "receiving Data" which all who has been playing ofp know and hate ... no logic in old time , and seem to be no logic now too Let hope we meet on server and handle the things with now I have to play , my progress bare are done Edit : nope I should not ,,, the Lobby screen would not disappear . one more time restart Best regards Icekiller

Im guessing, but I think he may mean he tried to join a game and then it was on the Receiving Data screen for a long time. Then it either went back to the server screen automatically or he hit esc to go back. I've had a few times, mainly CTI games, where it was taking forever to join due to the amount of data to catch me up on the game so I went and found another server. Or he could be talking about something completely different. sorry guys , I am a bit to fast when putting together my text . And thx to Creepy_Smell for trying to understand ... yes you right , that what I mean .... I see my file is finish downloading , and then I just hang with that message "receiving data" ,,, just like in good old time of OFP (were there from before beginning and will be there to the end . and for smart guys like "ofpforum" , learn the terms before u try to make fun ... JIP is a tecnic for joining , but lobby is where you are selecting roles/team etc... and pool is where incomming people are listet...it here I miss the count of people... maybe u can not read .. but at least read manual before try to make fun of other people. for making all happy ,,, yep just flame me now ,,, I have no more to add. to this thread. thx and let hope we get a lot of nice games AA Icekiller

shouldnt wondering me ... I do love the game , but they dont like our frustration , when things go bad . then I must say sorry , I really did miss to see the filter in serverlist in my frustration over waiting on this stuff... But I must say , I still miss the number of people in the pool... So If I get banned now I just bad luck , I am just sad not to play the game , cause I use to much time in lobby .... Hi 5 years or so ,,, OFP did came out ,,, Loved the game --- now 5 year later , still like AA alot when playing it.... note I say when I play it ... play does fu... not mean looking on a progressbar showing "Receiving Data".... same shi.. as for 5 years ago... only visual changed. why ??? one of the biggest complain of ofp was all the wating time before getting into the game.... BIS has not been listening AT ALL.... I the worst portal / lobby existing. 1) why in the world is no count of people in the pool we did ask for that 2) why no way of eliminate maps with to few slots we did ask for that 3) BUT WORSE THING .... why so fu.. bad netcode still we did ask for approvement 4) in list of gamespy why in world no way of filter Start regret I did be loyal and put money into this (why I am bitter ,, I did leave ofp , because my time was not for hanging 15-20min before each game could be started.... this has not changed at all still) A disapointet gamer...
