Yeah , I dont want to start a war either... just wanted to show my appreciation for far and away the best damn war sim out there. Sure OFP needs some improvements here and there, but overall it beats the panties off anything out there... REALLY! If we could combine the graphics potential of MOH with OFP that would be incredible... but then again MOH is a little arcade-ish. wait, I'm going to start another war... better leave now

well, boys (and girls) I have something to get off my chest. I came into a little cash last week (tax refund! and I decide to splurge and bought Ghost Recon. BIG MISTAKE. After playing Operation Flashpoint and getting used to its controls and being immersed in the games dynamics and atmosphere, I am spoiled. GR is a total disappointment. I got banned from UBI's forum for bitching too much about all it's bugs and conflict issues which affect actual gameplay and just running the thing. Their tech problem forum is the largest I've ever seen... and they just released Desert Seige and still haven't fixed half the problems with the first release... I was a little ticked after spending 45.00 on a half-finished product. And for God sakes, you can't even see your hands or weapon in view. Whose big idea was that? thats not realism! Last time I checked, I could see my hands in front of me in real life... That game is like playing a souped-up version of Nintendo's Duck Hunt. I read so many good reviews about GR that I thought I made an educated decision, but i guess those guys have never played Operation Flashpoint. So I just wanted to say, I am sorry for taking Operation Flashpoint and its genius developers for granted. I'll never do it again. Keep up the good work...

I've installed the latest patch for Ghost- which is supposed to allieviate the "popping" sounds heard in the game. I'm still hearing plenty of them. What now? fiddled a bit with sound settings in game but no luck- also still can't get my Ghost Recon to recognize my (Kensington) mouse wheel... anyone have any ideas?

i've thought of reinstalling it- but im not sure why it wouldnt work in Ghost Recon either- I just put that game in the other day(hate the viewpoint in that game) anyway hopefully someones got a solution....

I've got a Kensington optical mouse- 5 or 6 buttons, mouse wheel, but OP Flashpoint doesn't seem to want to recognize the wheel no matter what I try. I've got the latest drivers for my mouse. I've tried to change settings in Flashpoints controls menu but no luck.... anyone else have this problem? My mouse wheel works perfect on every other game I own except Ghost Recon and Op Flashpoint- What gives?
