Are you sure? I think it's bad that this game should only appeal to a specific kind of gamers when it comes to online gaming. OFP could so easily have become much more popular, if the online part was much more easy to use. The option of joing in an ongoing game, would of course not be ideal for all game-modes (probably not co-op), but some of the game-modes like CTF and those Capture and Hold like game-modes needs this very much IMHO.

Does anyone know if it will ever be possible to join an ongoing game? And why isn't this possible already? As I see it... it could be one of the major reasons that Operation Flashpoint isn't very popular as an online multiplayer game. Sometimes it's very nice just to take a quick game... join a game and then play for 20-30minutes. But this isn't very easy with OperationFlashpoint as it is right now - you have to wait for a server waiting for players... and I prefer one with a okay ping. When you compare the new game "America's Army" with Operation Flashpoint, it has cirka 10 times gamers online. Greetings, Inshadow
