Ok, thanks, I didn't know that. Because I only have one arma.cfg on my PC and I thought the server and the client would use the same. I'll put an Arma.cfg on my server folder and try!

Thanks, I'll change this value on my server.cfg I think everything is working fine now the only problem is with the LAG. The ping is very good for my friends, but when they get inside the cities, the lag starts, the textures take time to load etc... But I'll try to change some values at my arma.cfg now!

CodesSkyWolf, Thanks for the reply but could you show me how can I put the server.cfg in the arma.cfg? I though reducing the graphic would help to reduce the lag. The ping is good, about 20-30, but the lag is big in the cities. My arma.cfg is like this: Thanks

Is it possible to have 2 arma.cfg on the same machine? One for the server and other for the client? I would like to use this settings on my arma.cfg for the server with reduced settings for the graphics. But don't want to reduce the graphics for the client.

I don;t know what happened, but I went to another server and played. Then I tried to connect at my server like normal player and I was able to connect and enter the game! Still don't understand, but now is working! Thanks guys for all the help!

What I get when I tried to connect being a normal player is the background image only, nothing more. And I get the message: waiting for host or something like this. I can't do anything without using the "/" to open the message field.

I'm using the server 1.05. My Arma is the 1.05. I didn't think about the version, but at least you can see it! hehehe I still don't understand why I can't connect to it like normal player.

Matt or anybody, Can you try to connect to my server? Maybe the ping will be horrible, but it's just to see if others can connect to it. The name from the SERVER is PARASAR thanks

I still can't connect being a normal player. I changed the kickDuplicate=0 and nothing changed. I really don't understand what is happening because when I don't use my server.cfg file and use the Arma default one I can connect being normal player without using any command (#login etc...). Any new hint?

Hi, I'm trying to create a server but I'm having some problems. When I create it without the server.cfg file, I can connect and play. If I try to use the server.cfg file I can connect, I see the welcome message but  I can't join the game. Nothing happens. My server.cfg file is: I did a search here at the forum, I read the wiki pages about server but I couldnt find a solution. Any hint?
