Hi, I've bought ARMA X: Anniversary Edition on Steam and want too use mods for it however it doesn't work as it did with the Non-Steam version (yeah I own both, less job with patching but I may take that back after this). I've putted the mods in the ArmA2 folder under "Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2" and use the commandline "-mod=@nameofmod" on ArmA2 OA and launch ArmA2 CO. Once in the menu it doesn't add the mods. They showup under Expansions in the menu but they haven't been added, like it checkes in the wrong folder for the mods. One solution I got is too add all the mods to "Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead" instead of "common\arma 2", however I haven't seen anyone say that we need to add it to the arrowhead folder when we are using the Steam version so something must be wrong. It's a clean install and I've launched all the games once and they are fully updated.

Great mission but it seems to crash for me when someone dies, this happens when I've created the server (not dedicated) and as soon as someone dies it just crashes/locks up. Rest of the people playing it works for except the server also dies. Edit: Did try the mission by myself and now the respawning works but once another player joines and dies it crashes, strange.

You just need to add -mod=FDF_Sounds in your shortcut to the beta patch. It already says: C:\MyArmAFolder\beta\arma.exe -mod=beta -nosplash just add -mod=FDF_Sounds after -nosplash, like this: C:\Spel\ArmA\beta\arma.exe -mod=beta -nosplash -mod=FDF_Sounds To find the above, right-click and choose Properties

If someone owns Armed Assault and got enough time can you make som movies of different things, just short clips of stuff like a few weapons and how they sound like, the vehicles and so on.

Ok. Sorry. One more time here: Intel Pentium IV 3GHz, 1Gig RAM, X800... in other words - bottom of the recommended configuration. Oh man, that looks great, what fps do you get?

I can't get the videos to download, I click on them and it starts to load but after a while it says "Done" and nothing happens, my ordinary luck I guess. Edit 1: I got it to work, it just downloads the whole video until it starts to play. Edit 2: Great videos, they show alot of improvements. My favorite is MOV03166 for a couple of reasons, it's has a nice atmosphere, shows alot of improvements (recoil, new item system), great models and so on. And yeah, is it just me that hates tecno/trance?

I found this german news article when I was looking around: http://www.bis-ingame.net/news,id....pp.html They are mentioning a video and also they got scans from a gaming magazine (great forest screenshot in it). There are also a few new shots but they seem to be taken with low graphic settings.

Maybe he's aiming up a bit, looks like that.

Why does it say Operation Flaspoint 2: Armed Assault, didn't Codemasters own the name Operation Flashpoint?
-
I got it to work with VLC and I say give us more! While I'm at hit, what settings did you use?

I can't get the Pot Pourri video working, I can here the sound but nothing more. I got the latest updates for DivX also.
