I think you're remembering Armour-Geddon by Psygnosis. Another fantastic Amiga game. -
Just started the first campaign mission where you fly a Cobra. Get this while flying about: Played last night for about 4 hours without this problem arising. Am using cat 7.2 drivers.

I've found that is what had happened. Although quite how hitting a small kerb at low speed would affect the driving a ability so much! No other incidents you see.

I find I often lose sounds, especially my own weapon. EAX on, HW sound on. When I last posted here (in 2002), it was about sound problems in OPF!

Have just tried to drive a 4x4 pick up in one of the side missions preceding the 3rd "proper" mission. I find that if I try to turn left or right while holding 'w' to go forward the pick up stops accelerating. Which makes it very difficult to do a 3 point turn! Its seems to be fine in reverse though. Is this a bug or a problem with my control set up? (which is the default by the way! )

I have the memory problem and things popping in and out. Have just been playing, on exit HD thrashed and desktop appeared back slowly. It was like when I tried to run BF2 on max setting with only 1Gb RAM and then exiting. peak commit charge in task man 2284372. I have literally just started the machine before playing. Specs in sig.

Dunno if this counts as a bug, but, I started the game again (just got GF4-Ti-4200, game looks sweet 1024x768x32 + quincunx(sp?)FSAA) and in the mission "Scrap" where you go for the tanks I managed to capture all the tanks, the bmp, one repair truck and one ammo truck. During the journey to the retreat point, my AI killed the bmp and the enemy bailed out of the T72 so I nicked it , in the next mission I only had the tanks I nicked from the base, the extra T72 was no where to be seen

I cannot find thread were this began!! I have tried via the mission editor to pit the various units against each other. And as in the post I cannot find (god bless Asda and cheap alcohol ) the V80 will NEVER fight against an enemy air unit I did one Apache vs 8xV80 and Apache won, did it again one Apache vs 2xHinds, Apache lost as Hinds fight back. If I remember the other post was getting bogged down with semantics of Real Life intelligence, vehicle abilities etc. What I would like, possibly with some others, is for the V80 to fight back goddamn it, at least try. Also (sort of going off topic) wtf do my soldiers, carrying AA weapons shoot TANKS especially any tank allied with myself that appears close by at begining of missions, then when a helo appears, I have to try shooting them down with RPGs. After all my AT soldiers wont shoot helos, just tanks in any variety, good or bad. Wooh, needed to get that off me chest.

I would like to be able to enter an enemy tank without my cocky AT soldiers shooting the boss In the mission following Occupation, when the gunships arrive, I noticed there was still a T80 that had only been abandoned by its crew. I got in drivers position, tank jumps about wildly then BOOM dead, camera pulls back to my own soldier putting RPG launcher back on his shoulder. They have even took out the Ural I used to take them to the 2nd base in Occupation, while we were creeping down the hill to the enemy base. I have found that if you get into the gunners position on that mission, you are ignored by both sides. So I'm taking pot shots at the V80 with T80's main gun for no return fire, managed to kill the Mi17 and Mi24, changed to driver position, tank did not move at all and all of a sudden all hell breaks loose as the V80 starts hammering me with its cannon. This can't be right, can it?

About this carrying stuff over from previous missions. If I capture any vehicles, and load them with stuff from ammo crates, then go to mission completion area, do those weapons count? I've not noticed it yet, but I too lost loads of gear, strangely enough on the brdge blowing mission.

Ok how strange is this. I tried the mission again, jumped in the BMP and drove north to try and take out the nme tanks near coast line and the mission ended complete!!!!! I did nothing different cos I was starting from the same savepoint I made after clearing the base.
