Since there might be a war in the next few hours/days/weeks, I was wondering what types of stocks go up during wars, well the stocks that go up the most. For example; utility companies, oil companies, internet companies, electronics manufacturers and the list goes on How will the Canadian stock exchange be effected?

+1 Well, at the very least, US Army Woodland. Edit: I'd like to see updates include some of the community addons (quality tested, final releases of course). That way, the community can get the benefit of more vehicles, weapons, and soldiers without making people download addon packs.

Is anyone else getting the game to lock up when alt tabbing and tabbing back in? It's not regular, but maybe 1/20 alt tabs I will get the game to lock up when I try to go back to the game. -
This bug and the turret azimuth bug are probably two of the most noticeable (and annoying) bugs in the game.

All files that the patch updates? The patch edits over 7 gigs worth of files in the addons directory. Is there a more effective way to do this? -

I don't know what beta this started in or if it has been mentioned yet or not, but when you are pressing a key when killed(for example the run forward key) and release the key when respawning, your soldier will still run forward without you touching they keyboard. If you press the run key again, the soldier will stop and will behave normally. However, it gets kind of annoying when your using the alt key to look right, the run forward button, and the sidetsep button all at once and have to press each one individually to get the soldier to stop doing that when you respawn. -

When I click the synchronize button no the web client I get a bunch of code and nothing happens. Any idea how to fix this? I tried both mozilla and IE and both do the same thing. Typing the "2" option does not install the sound mod either. msg: Hi All, I'm helping set up a server and we are having a bit of an issue. When we put the keys for certain mods into the server's "Keys" directory and enable the signature check, the server will kick you with "allowed" addons just as if they were not signed at all. Just to confirm, client side mod/addons folder should have the pbo and the .bisign files for each addon. The server should have the .bikey file in the keys director of the server and have sigcheck set equal to 1 on the config? Does anyone have any insight on to why this is? I did a search and nothing really came up. Ok, we got vopsound working using the old vop key (I think) as well as the TRSM sounds. You may now connect using it. However, the RH Heli sounds and War FX addons do not work which makes me think there is an error in the keys themselves from the addon creators. I think we may make our own keys for these addons and if someone wishes to use them they would have to use our signed files on the server. You mean remove all keys from the server KJU? I do not know. I will find out when I get a chance. -

It's not just vopsound. All the addons included in the list Qwertz provided do not work. I've tried different combinations of addons just to see if any one of them work with no luck. No matter which addons are used, the server will not recognize the keys. Plain arma works fine. -

That's the problem though. I installed the exact same keys on the server that I downloaded with the addons on my client machine. Edit: And yes, it's not just VOP that's giving the trouble. If I remove the addons from the mods folders, it won't let me connect with any one of those addons listed above even though the keys are on the server. -

How difficult would it be to make this similar to a sound mod or the particle effects mod where it works on the client side in MP missions who have the mod installed? For example, missions with bad weather will use the NIM weather but only the players that have it installed will see it that way? That away missions won't have the addon dependency. -

I'm getting frequent lockups after about an hour or so of play. Windows said it forwarded the problem information to BIS, though. Also the map seems to be messed up. It takes about 10 seconds to load and it doesn't move very smoothly. Sometimes the zoom and move functions do not work as well. This happens in all missions but seems to happen more frequently in missions with a lot of city combat. -
I don't know if any derivative of OFP will get the same fanbase as the original. When OFP was new and fresh there were hundreds of players on 24/7 and the online play was very intense in CTF maps. I remember getting sweaty palms and being really stressed when your team would spend most of the mission battling those pesky flag defenders. Then finally seeing an opportunity to go for the flag right after watching someone be killed by a defender who placed a hidden satchel charge near the flag. After you grab the flag you jump in a jeep and jeep and drive as fast as possible while the other team fires at you in desperation and if your lucky make it back to the home base. That was probably the most entertainment I have ever gotten out of a PC game. However, I think a lot of the original players just got burnt out. We spent countless hours playing that game, making new vehicles, texture mods, maps, ect. Now we pretty much had to start from scratch again with some of the same old bugs from the original. Granted it's a lot prettier, but it's just the same thing.... without the enjoyment. I pretty much stopped playing after watching everything on the island get destroyed because of some cheat.. is that thing still working? I was also tired of seeing that evolution mission on almost every populated server. If I wanted to play a game where I was a person I'd play the Sims... I guess I'll have to check it out again this weekend and see what's new. Do the queen's gambit players play separately from the other players?

I'm upgrading to vista in a few hours, and I want to make sure that I can reinstall Armed Assault. I don't want to have to use up one of my activations after the install. Is there anything I should save in my registery where I won't have to do that?

I decided to do the install on a spare hard drive, just in case. Vista is neat and all, but drivers are hard to find. I can't get my USR Wireless card to work. The sound drivers don't work as well.

Does this have anything to do with the way ofp files are named?
