I just built this AWESOME PC... It's a AMD 1600+ XP processor with 512 DDR RAM, a Gforce3 Chameleon video card, SB Audigy soundcard, 16x DVD and ,you guessed it, Windows XP operating system. Now with that said, you would think this PC is good to go. Â Well, it is! It's a great PC. It does everything I need it to do and it's fast! One exception, I cannot get OFP to load on it. I receive an error when installing it. ERROR: "File Copy Error (CRC does not match) What does that mean? Â Before my last reinstall of XP, this is about my third, I got it to load just fine but when I started to play the game it would either kick me back out to the desktop or reboot my PC entirely. Guy.. We all know how OFP is a great, awesome game and how we couldn't live without it.. Help me!!! I'm having withdrawls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!@@@!@#!@#!@#! I'm going MAD!!!! I got it... I have an Elitegroup ECS motherboard, k7s5a, with 1600+ XP processor. Chip set = sis735. I changed the CMOS from 133/133, for a front side bus, to 100/100 and it worked. I don't know why but wtf, I need something to work. Don't by cheap, noname brand MB's. I now feel that I'm not taking full advantage of my processor. Now I just have to wait for a flash upgrade and XPse. Thanks for all your help everyone... See you on the island. OFP Rocks... Sgt Hurley

Someone! Anyone! Please, supply me with the tricks, instructions, to allowing RESPAWN to work in multiplayer games.. I hate it when you have to start the entire scenario over from the begining again. Much appreciated my fellow OFP gamers. (Edited by Sgt Hurley at 2:20 pm on Oct. 28, 2001)

What about other pbo's? I donloaded "Saving Pvt. Ryan" but it's just a pbo file. No directory or anything just a file. What do I do about that one.. That is the one I'm really concerned about. E-Mail me an example file if you could. [email protected]
