LOL if you guys saw me draw a stick figure you would understand why the textures look the way they do. I am no artist by far and textures are in my opinion the only down side of this addon. Im really suprised they turned out even half way decent. Maybe after I have time to read up and do marffys new texturing tutorial I will be able to make better textures for the sukhoi. We are all done working on the F18 right now. Its sitting packed up waiting to be posted. No more addon work for at least 1 good month. I Need to play some OFP again Chomps about the setObjectTexture thing. No not on this addon, to much time spent on other things. The sukhoi I am working on does use this though.

The soultion is a no brainer to me. 1 line of code and a hpp file packed with the addon. Easiest on the addon maker and anyone that wants to use the dialog in their mission.

Dialogs ARE possible in addons, we used one for the cluster bomb setup in the F18. There are a couple things you have to do though. Setup the dialogs in a txt file and name it YourFile.hpp. Then any mission you want to use the dialogs on add the code #include <YourAddonName\YourFile.hpp> Â in a description.ext file. This can also be done with materials.hpp and others. Havnt tried resource.hpp but I imagine it works just the same.

Damn, I didnt even notice the wheels fold up like that at the end. Your not really animating the same part twice, your using hidden selections to mimic animating the same selection twice. You sneaky dog you! I wouldnt know this if I didnt have to do the same thing after splitting the wings on my F18 and then having to fix the ailerons. Good Job! Keep up the good work.

Maybe you should know that that addon is about 10% done there mr smartass, and the pics that were put on OFP.cz were never intended for the public. So while you go off thinking your so smart remember that you are actually assuming that you know what is going on with the addon. I had allready mention in the post above your origional one that the pics shown were using the wrong missile and the ones I plan on using are R77. So go ahead and rant and rave about all you know, I read the same webpages. I dont know about you but when I sit down to play OFP I am there to play a game. Not a FS2002 or Flanker 2 type of sim. If you want a buleprint spec aircraft from me for OFP your gonna be in for a long damn wait. I dont have the time or patience to make a addon to RL specs. Why dont you give it a try?

I was very impressed by your F/A-18s and hope that this aircraft turns out even better than they did.Thing is,there have been quite a few potentially excellent aircraft addons that have turned out awful because of a lack of dedication and commitment from the creator ... This not only disappoints aircraft enthusiasts like myself but also gives the wrong impression to people that are not familiar with these aircraft, as they download an aircraft that at first sight looks really interesting and exciting to use, install it and  find out that it handles like a pregnant yak or has the completely wrong armament or the completely wrong role or the wrong camo etc...These people will then be misled about this aircraft...They'll go away thinking it's a piece of crap cos they couldn't play with it when in fact had the author made a better job of it,it could have been a very useful addition to the OFP inventory. This is exactly why I dont like to post screenshots or even threads anymore on my work. I understand your trying to help but your pointing out the obvious. All things I allready know and things that HAVE TO BE MODIFIED either because of the game engine or the models limitation to detail. I tried sticking the ladder behind the front wheel but it wasnt happening. To complex animations to pull it off. Maybe when the day comes that I can post some screens of a work in progress that is sharing weapon proxies with another of my works in progress then I will start to share my work with others, untill then you guys are just to damn picky for me. I am planning on supplying extra logo/decal textures with the Su-34 so players can choose between Russian/Czech/Ukraine/Uzbek/Indian/Chineese logos. But I dont say things like this because I know someone all amped up to show just how much they know will come post about how this plane isnt even full scale production and only serves in the soviet airforce. All things I know but damn me for trying to make things a little more dynamic for you ingame.

The F18 is in the final stages of testing, I hope. We are currently working on a CBU-87b CEM for the plane (Which has a pop up dialog you can use to pick between 6 preset spread patterns). That should be the last addition. The Su will hopefully be ready for a public BETA at that time. These pics that someone found on my webspace are rather old and dont really show all the work I have done on the plane in the last couple weeks The Su shown in the screenshots is actually carrying R-77 missiles now. The fun part will be trying to script one of those bad boys to be launced rearward from the back of the plane :-) O OFP is great!

Yes he has made some mistakes in the past but I dont think he deserves all this grief over this ch-53, its a beautiful chopper ingame. Oh yeah, when scorpio sent the chopper to me I also wanted to post screenies all over the net. But I tried my best and didnt press the submit post tab. I must confess I did have to send a screenshot to a friend :-( But I think posting the pics was a bit wrong. The addon had not even been mentioned in public as far as I was aware of. Next time too tall you should ask first.

Hmm. I see we are all 10 years old here, ill try to keep this simple for you guys. 1. I do not need or want, nor have I ever needed or wanted a "PR guy". 2. There is updated information on the hornet in the F18s Addons&Mods complete forum thread.

I have got the hornet ready for community beta testing. It is being released as version 0.9 beta. The final version will be completed after I get some feedback from the community and finish the Su-30/34 addon  (pic with temporary textures). If you would like to help out hosting the addon please do so and add any URLs to this thread, you guys are great about that ****Disclaimer so I dont get flamed like some other poor souls*** The model used is a downloaded .max model imported into O2, I did not make it and do NOT in anyway take credit for its creation. Please enjoy  (grey textures shown are not actual textures on model....) The addon can be obtained by sending an email to f18@radishville.com you will recieve an email back shortly with a download URL. Thanks and look forward to your feedback.... l strela and p strela didnt work with proxies set up   the missiles fire out of the middle of the plane. If I add sidewinders on the raketa memory points then the flares look like they are firing from center of plane I guess ill put the sidewinders on the wings as L & P raketa and you guys will have to live with the chaff looking funny when launched. Hopefully BIS will add multiple proxy support in a future patch and this can be changed. 578 rounds, Hmm thats not gonna cut it in a MP game. Thats all I play. When BIS decides to change the A10 from 2000 to 1000 I will change from 2000 to 578   until then I guess we both get 2000  JDAMs, Do you just want it to be a giant laser/radar locking bomb? You sure you want plain ol rockeyes instead of a CBU or some fuel air explosives? Ill switch the AGM88 version to  mavericks. I have also asked the DKM guys for some info on the animated HUD over at their forums. Hopefully they will get with me on that and the hornet can have a working heads up display. -

Just wanted to keep you guys updated on the progress of the final release. I have fixed most the bugs and added quite a few of your suggestions to the planes.  Currently Im working on the set of grey textures... I decided to go with a marine hornet (thanks wonder) from VMFA-251 "Thunderbolts" as the greys base. You also might notice that the AMRAAMs in the above pic have been retextured. Same goes for the AGM88 and the AiM9. I am also currently working on a CBU-87 clusterbomb to replace the Mk82 and paveway 2000lb bombs... I still have a few more fixes to make in o2 and alot of scripting that needs to be done. Its looking like 2 or 3 weeks till final version is released. I will be BETA testing final release in the next week or two, If you would like to help then please either send me an e-mail at hudson@radishville.com or send me a private message here.
