I dont know if what i will say will help Codemaster to solve these problems about upgrade...
I have the same problems upgrading with patches and even upgrading with Red Hammer Add-on.
BUT ... after investing many ways i find something realy strange :
I used a CD quality Test form nero Software wich revealed read errors on both Codemaster's CDs (OPF and Red Hammer) ... I suppose the problem is based on the way codemaster try to avoid illegal copies of CD ...
Please try to investigate this way and post your results ...
