as much as i appreciate everyones advice ive relegated my project to slightly increasing the initspeed, and decreasing the turrets max elevation, it works ok, just not perfect.but.... i have another question in reference to ammo. in order to see the actual projectile(custom ammunition) from the weapon can i just code it in the ammo definitions in order to see it in game when fired? -

i increased the init speed to 55 and the range of the ammo appearence increased but now the ammo disappears after about 125 meters. and the simulation didnt seem to make a difference, what does the maxleadspeed do? -

I have the initspeed at 40, hope thats what you meant -

thanks again for your response, but ialready scrapped the fort and sarted another project, of course using the parts that did work ,which was the gun. the fort just wouldnt allow the gunner to see the enemy.....oh well, thanks again -

thanks for responding, its actually one i made,i have the max range at 1000 and the minimal range at 5 -
Iknow everybody is immersed in in armed assualt modelling ,but can someone spare a few moments to assist me with this problem? the ammo seems to disappear after about 100 meters and does not land/hit unless its less then 100 meters, is there something that i can do to change this

i made a fortification with a gunner position within the fort,the problem i have is that the gunner rarely fires on the enemy, unless( or so it seems) the enemy kills a member of squad, and it seems only when the enemy is around 30 to 50 meters from fort. now the fortification is structured so as to minimize the area the enemy can fire through to hit the gunner(small openings),would this also be limiting the fortification-gunner from engaging the enemy?

thanks for help people, i actually got it to work by using the barrel as the kulas selection....go figure.....

thanks for response, but i still get the bullets leaving fron the back of the gun , also the aiming sights are towards the rear,is there something in the config i need to change?

can anyone help with getting my weapon to fire from the barrel end and not the other end

im rather new to scripting ,but i have made a catapult ,everything works good so far im just stuck on my "fired" event handler, ive made the catapult arm thrust forward, as if to launch the projectile , how can i make it move back to the pre-lanch position?

texture does not appear in external viewer mode

someone please help me figure out, why does the texture I load onto the editor mode of o2 show up there but not in the external viewer mode, the only thing that shows up is a white texture?

I still cant get it to work, nothing shows up in the texview window, what am I doing wrong?
