Gunney replied to miles teg's topic in ARMA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Sweet i've been waiting a long time for one of these babys. I'm going into the USMC 18xx next year so I have a good chance of being an operators on one of these babys. Thanks for all the hard work! -

Great map, but I have one question if I have the SLX mod loaded up and I go and create a LAN match. Will the AI use the SLX features, i prefer them much better than vanilla ArmA's. If it does work, are there any risks in breaking the flow of the mission?

New patch is out fixing bugs http://forums.taleworlds.net/index.php/topic,35650.0.html

Ya there is some annoying bugs in the newest release but nothing game stopping. .950 is way better than .903 in terms of features so I could never go back.
-
Yep the new improvements are very nice. This game deserves more hype than it is getting.

This mod is the best thing to happen to ArmA in awhile really makes the game a lot better. Only one thing that bothers me is medics/corpsman often completely ignore a wounded man right besides him and instead engages the enemy. Several times I drag a wounded screaming man right next to a corpsman and he does nothing for him. I get attached to my men and it saddens me to see them bleeding, screaming, and dying next to a corpsman that could save his life. If solus could fix that somehow that would be awesome.

Finaly support pack 2 is ready for beta testing
Gunney replied to zonekiller's topic in ARMA - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Very nice script i'm loving it right now. The mission it came with was very fun and chaotic. Good work -
aww EA is just publishing it they haven't put their filth on it lol. But anyways looks like a good decision for the team imo. The devs really have some nice mod support. Hope BIS eventually releases whatever you need to get a mod up on here also. If you haven't I would suggest registering your team on http://www.crymod.com/portal.php

I'd reccomend playing these user maps, there a lot of fun. http://www.crymod.com/filebase.php?fileid=262 http://www.crymod.com/thread.php?threadid=9616 There already pumping out maps and missions in the demo cant wait till full release of the editor and SDK look like.

So far 25 % done track their progress : http://www.crymod.com/moddbmods.php?id=60 There is more to the game than just looks play the demo game play is amazing.

Open the editor and go wherever you want.

Nice, been waiting for these types of units for a long time!
-
Very nice Armavidz, did you watch Shooter before making that video? haha, first part reminded me of that movie alot it was nicely done. Nice sounds keep it up guys.

LOL same here man. I bought it and that it was the coolest thing for a couple days, till I realized it wasn't all that good. This free mod competes with that game imo. You can do the same thing and go into FPS mode anytime you want. edit: Ok maybe I was a little harsh, it is an ok game but, a huge amount of bugs and stuff. Nice work CoC team

I call that dailykos article BS imo. If it is true, then that Navy LSO is going to be in a whole world of trouble if they find out who it is. and lol@ the writer of that article, according to her most people in the US military are apolitical and trigger happy people.
-
Yep and they sure suck at that right. They seriously cant make games that are enjoyable at all.

Vista 64 bit, only had 1 problem with it, but it was resolved so no problems with any games so far. I dont know if the vast majority of people bashing vista have never tried it or what but 0 problems so far.

Who cares about what units they have in release? Most of the countries units will just be modded in later jeez.

Seriously, Alan wake and Crysis will be utilizing them and they said it would be a nice performance gain during intense action scenes. While I know nothing about programming, I just figured maybe BIS could do something to support these cause they will be used in many other future games coming out. idk, what your gripe with multi cores is but what do you suggest, stick with single core? I'll be happy with my Q6600 during Crysis.
