  1. hi downloaded game from metaboli second time. i played it in 2007. now again under vist32sp1 with 8800GTX and 175.16. when i start the game i get a screen where i can move mouse but cant see anythink--heres a screen:

  3. Thanks rikkie, but when i change a value then comes an error: DataFile is to short. Ich changed DB to -80 in this line: class M1Abrams : Tank { soundEngine[] = {"\FDF_Sounds\Vehicles\m1a1_e.wss", db-80, 1}; before it was -5 I cant change any value...hmm I work with pboview 0.8 and open the file directly in the arma folders(told windows to open .pbo with pboviewer) then change value in notepad and saved
  4. reduce volume of the sound file itself (wss/ogg/wav). The reason is that those two overwrite the insideSoundCoef value for most / all classes again. There are three solutions: 1.) ask the sound makers to change it in the official version 2.) make your private edited version of the addon / pbo. 3.) make a new addon which has <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">requiredAddons[] = {"TheSoundModClassYouUse"}; and redefine the values in there (therefore you don't have to modify the original addon / pbo). How to reduce the sound in files itself? Wich stuff must i change then? Sorry but i dont know much about the script language..

  6. No way.. Yes i have a "Addon" folder in @noise. And in the addon folder are these two .pbo I tweaked this line: // Global define to tweak the insideSoundCoef for all units at the same time. #define PROPER_InsideSoundCoef_GlobalCoefficient 0.001 to 0.0001 and 0.1 Nothing happens. Sitting in a tank in Editor is the same loud noise.. Changed Value to 0 and nothing happens. Put only PROPER_Gameplay_Vehicle_InsideSoundCoef In Addons folder and nothing happens. I Use TrueMods + ArmaEffects + FDF Sounds ..Thats the problem? Yes it is. started with no addons and It WORKED! But in 3Person sound is as loud as before. Now 2 Questions: How to get sounds in 3rd a bit silenced? And: How to get work with other addons? Problem i figured out is FDF_Sounds. Withou it all is ok. But i wanna use FDF..Edit: Same with Modern Warfare Soundmod

Hm i installed PROPER_Gameplay_Vehicle_OccludeAndObstructSounds and PROPER_Gameplay_Vehicle_InsideSoundCoef but i hear anything as loud as before in a tank--- named the folder @noise and started with armaLauncher. mod will load up..how can i reduce volume to zero and test it? how to unpack these pdo and pack them back? or a bug? or a bug in my ears.:)

    Wich driver Version you ran before? Wich Settings ingame and in RivaTuner? Thanks for information! I use ForceWare 163.76 Beta too.In Nvidia Control Panel all settings application managed..Shaders high/normal, textures high,aa/af high, objekts,landscape very low. Fog still there. I do uninstall the previous driver.

    Arma is always laggy, no way to chanhe it..i ask often in this or other forums for help.theres none. arma is laggy, players warping.no solution-.

    Hmm i put in in @GTDGrassMod in my Arma Folder and told kegetys to run it. to way..absolutly no difference in grass high.. mod started right but i see no effects. perhaps conflict with truemod or armaeffects?
