I have tried numerous keyword searches for "addon/mods complete" channel, and nothing is coming up. same thing overall with GOOGLE:confused: specifically I am looking for what I think was a GSXR /suzuki sportbike add-on. I could readily find a few ARMA sites if GOOGLED, a few years ago but now I cant locate for the life of me. even here in this forum. but I am thinkin there were a couple others as well ???? :( Does anyone here know of ANY sportbike mods for ARMA/ARMA II they can direct me to? I'm currently making a parody of a local video on youtube, and the dirtbikes wont translate well for what I need. any sportbike will work, for ARMA or ARMA II. even if its a very simple/generic model:bounce3: thx.

I use track-ir 3 with the vector clip for several years now. Since it works so well, I haven't had a need to upgrade. With the new versions having better resolution, and faster, you shouldn't have any issues :)

Agreed! For solo play, track-ir and pilfius. a must. Feels like you are there, and playing with other players (when you can't connect to internet, or just don't see a good server)

I use pilfius like a religion on my home computer for ARMA, but I fried my comp accidentally, thus taking the new ARMA II I bought, (post computer breaking) and installed it at my moms house. But she doesn't have internet) and I have the manual back at my place....lol. I think because of that (and so usedpilfius on my ARMA, I forgot the original setup. Can't nwait for internet back home without thphone use..grrrr this is lame...besides playing ARMA II, on a comp that barely plays it..but at least I get my FIX!!!!! Thanks again y'all :)

First off, sorry if it has been asked before. Currently on my cellphone, and takes forever to go thru and search each item thru search function.. The new conrol system is very sparse (streamlined??) Compared to original arma. It seems with arma II I can't get any otions to control my squad, other than. .fire control: fire No fire Movement: go here Board Group: assign team That's basically it. I KNOW there is no way BOHEMIA would remove, the other options ( flanking,squad formations, combat "mood", soldier re-arming etc,etc) So how do I get to the sub menu? It doesn't open up if I use F-keys directly for the soldier/s, mousing on the soldier doesn't bring it up, nor does bringing up main menu, than trying to access the submenu...its always grayed out. How do I get the control like I did in OPFLASH and ARMA II? Edit: I just forgot about this..isn't there a menu option somewhere to select greater access? Now that I am away from computer, I bet I just answered it... correct me if I am wrong..but I would like conformation just in case. Thx.

i just wish TRACK-IR was enabled in demo...

for an AMD athlon 2300 (@1.5 Ghz) and 2 gig old corsair ram, and NVIDIA 7600 GS.. not too shabby!

I prefer the old system as well. almost 10 years of the same thing ..then CHANGE..grrrrrr

Nevermind... i found out i still have my original German download from METABOLI.. guess i'll just use that. Neither stock ARMA, or GOLD version is working.. sigh.

hey all, I am currently re-installing ARMA (GOLD) on a slightly older PC than what i normally played on.. now i did have the game installed on this PC, and it runs fine, but because i found out about patch 1.16, i decided to do a "clean sweep" of ARMA, and re-install fresh. My question is, does the sahrani part of install take a LOOOOOOOOOONG time to install? i never really noticed before, because i would leave for about a half hour and come back.(on typical ARMA/OFP installations) during this install isat around and noticed the progress bar, it would move forward a few "progress boxes"..then go back about 3 or 4..then move back up. but never past a certain "box"..and it just keeps repeating. normal? The DVD doesnt seem to have any big scratches on it, but maybe one is the straw breaking the camels back. i hope its not a bad CD/DVD... cause i just inserted my regular non gold version trying that to install...and its not getting past ANIMS/PBO/GZ...and it is doing the same thing with the progress boxes...but didnt do this at the same section as my arma GOLD seemed to get stuck (SAHRANI/PBO/GZ) hope i dont have 2 bad discs...on the other hand that would just mean i go out and get ARMA II then :P

Track-IR with PILFIUS, and ECS "mod" is a Godsend! Whats nice is that ECS allready removes the in game "command voice"..back that up with track-IR, and its not that its "like" you are in game"....but "you ARE actually there"!

Does anyone know how to get the fire teams to move, or flank? I can get individual units to move and flank, i can get the whole squad to move, or flank...but i cant get red team, green team, etc etc to do anything.. I can get red team to move..but thats it, any other team, or movement causes the control panel to open up, select desired movement..then fires my weapon...rather than "click" to "move here"...(even though the key press is exactly as i do in game..studied,written down,tried different combinations) Is there a key press or assignable keypress in game that is "hidden" or not well known to use that highlights only that fireteam, rather than having to select and scroll? Im wondering if that is the issue. Also can someone confirm this crash bug for me? If i assign "K" for compass in pilfius..it crashes on me. Same thing for "N" for night vision, and "M" for map.. Thanks

Now its not a "flight sim" the way you would like it to be (as others have posted) But even with some rudder control issues, arma makes a very good helicopter sim! Pop up targeting, and nap of earth flying makes it a very challenging, and rewarding experience! A "moderate" amount of realism that foregoes some of the "this is too realistic" features of lets say "BLACK SHARK" heli sim. Seeing the faces of troops on ground, and directly supporting them makes it "hit home" where more technical sims cant do that (due to blocky figures, and actions being dumbed down, to save resources for better flight characteristics, and other features)

COMPLETE RE-RE-EDIT::: I figured out the problem. I wear construction type earmuffs coverted to headphones, that block out almost all sound...i forgot i have 3 tornado fans going on in there (the computer..not the headphones! Since i couldnt hear them with in game sounds, and heavy duty earmuffs blocking out external sound, i couldnt figure out why my training was so bad. DOH! I removed the turbine jet exhaust fans and Retrained all vocals, in a quiet atmosphere, fired back up arma. NO PROBLEMS what so ever. And i realised its easier to make all commands first for one soldier...then just keep adding in more soldier prompts. Also calling soldiers by a basic last name (each "name" is common to soldier type i.e. "Sanderson" will always be sniper, "andrews" will always be anti-whatever, "engles" would be engineer..etc,etc.. Plus, after each "common" command like STOP, i test it, if it works, i then add in additional commands that mean the same keypress, but different wording (dont move!, stay put! Hold what you got, far enough, thats good..etc etc, that way im not relegated to sounding like stephen hawkins, and communication is more lifelike. Very nice program!
