What about Sigmas pickup? It looks so goddamn good! A small update with either an mg in back or perhaps soldiers firing out of the windows... Why not a hole in the windscreen with an MG42 sticking out and some ducktape around it to make it stable?

About modded guns... Why don't you make this one? and yeah some of the weapons' wood furniture looks a bit gray/yellow... Not dirty gray but wrong grey :/. Could use a bit of freshening perhaps. And there's gotta be some anims out there that stops them scopes from dissapearing when you aim with right mouse. But it's really great that you guys managed to get this stuff out when you said it would be . It's hard to try to come with constructive critisism whitout sounding whiny... Hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

They did, and still do use them I think, the soft ones that is. Just plain daft to jump from a plane with a bowl of steel on yer gulliver. It's pretty much like the tank-helmet. But I think these are smaller as they don't have a radio (mic and stuff) built in.

I think the KLMK/KZS/Sumrak is a bit overused as it was a pretty rare camo primarily used by Special Operations. If you would like to make infantry representing the time you should give them either khaki/brown clothes or the old soviet woodland. If you wan't to represent the naval infantry that plays the role as agressor in the original OFP-campaign they should have the naval infantry version of the russian woodland camoflage. At least I think so. But I have to say that the work looks real nice this far! Can't be too many russians in OFP. BOOTS: Probably would be more realistic with the (fake)leather ones issued then. I don't think the ordinary forces had modern boots back then. But again that depends on what units you'll do. GUNS: They should use Ak47, AKM, AK74, PKM, RPK47 (74?) and Dragunov.

Yeah, the sumrak look just like real fabric! If you look at one of them GRUs crawling you just get amazed! Bloody brilliant.

Some bugs on the infantry (hoods and stuff, but they never work anyway so it's probably just the ofp-angine messing around) and the hands look a wee bit small sometimes. And when units just stand without weapons their heads are pretty large. Not that I bother since these are the greatest units made for OFP ever! Shamelessly my first mission consisted in a russian convoy being massacred by rangers. Damn those Hinds! They never engage ground targets as they should! I hope your versions will be able to put suppressive fire on infantry and such. Great work guys, and thank you all very much for this again! These won't go away until you make something better! Pt 2 of teh Mirot Vorci documentary is uploaded! But I must warn you as there are one VERY disturbing scene in this part where they litterary cut a guys head of. No chopping it takes a while. You can avoid this scene though, as just before they cut the throat of a goat (not as graphic) probably to make a point of how the "bad guys" think (observe that this documentary is Russian and in no way neutral to the conflict). If you feel you are up to it you might PM me. I would also like some feedback if the video I first uploaded actually works. Well age is not the main factor... I hope. I'm only 17 mind you. There are people there with the physical age of a 30 year old but the mental age of a violent 8 year old child. Lot's of good photos there (I allways check for russian ones first) and if you keep away from reading anything you'll quite like it... EDIT: Here is a quite nice batch of pictures of Russian Vityaz. Thanks for the comments. I've allways tried to get people to understand that war isn't nice at all anywhere else than on a screen, but commentating on militaryphotos can get your hopes down quite fast... It's amazing how many depressingly stupid people can gather on one place. I'll continue to try to upload the documentary, and I'll try to contact Hood and russianarms (some of the photos are theirs and I hope to be able to use them with their permission). PM me if you are interested. With RHS's permission I will post here if I can get a gallery or an upload-place (no direct links, mind you). I thought of that when cutting out that part... the thing that happens right after is that they stop by some BTR's and jump off into an assault that goes terribly wrong. The Hinds are afraid to go in because of AA-threats and they don't get neither air support nor smoke screens... The sequence ends with the russians pulling in the dead in a pile. They lose like 10 people or something. You don't see any detailed gross stuff, but the blood drenched clothes are probably more than enough to get me banned if I post it. I could probably upload the whole first part but it would take a while and you would have to PM or mail me if you want it. And even though the worst scene is in the second part, there are a couple of parts that can be found quite disturbing. BTW, I've collected a little pile of photos concidering the russian forces. Anyone know a good place to make a gallery?

I could try and make more cuts... the problem is that the program i used for the video was a demo and could bnly make the first 60 seconds (that's why it ends so abruptly)... I had this nice timing and everyting... and now I think I uninstalled them programs because of a wee bit of irritation.

Dude, don't worry about that. That scene is one of the few things I really regret that I have seen. I don't wan't to put that on anyone else... Anyone know a good, simple place to upload videos? I tried googles thingie but it seems to take a while to get it verified there...

BTW, have you guys seen the Mirot Vorci documentary? It's really horrible, but it's very interesting too. Even without being able to understand what they say (can't speak russian; no subs) you understand very much. There was a site which had these monstrosities of files (380 and 540MB) uploaded, but it's down now. I did make a one minute cut from the first part. I'll see if I can host it somewhere.. if you're interested that is? All these russiophiles might wan't something to do while they wait for your goodies. Just an idea, might be completely wrong.
