Y'all should do a sight for the 203 as well. AFAIK you guys are doing SAS, right? Well they use M16/M4's with 203's.

Like this one: Maybe with an older style one like this: Anyway, this is the only bird I like that hasn't/isn't being made. (as far as I know.) It would be cool to have fast-rope and cargo (as in carrying zodiacs underneath etc) scripts and, if possible, a water landing script, as I've heard the SH-3 is capable of that. Or maybe it's just the Coast Guard version that can do that? Whatever.

That looks very cool. Any chance you could leave the gear in woodland? It just looks better and is more realistic in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure I'm safe saying you've never been shot at with an RPG, so knowing that you could infact dodge one is all but false right now. Â It was most likely slowed down for the visual effect. It was, I believe they even say so in one of the behind the scenes documentaries. That's why it doesn't bother me, I know RPG's haul ass, but the effect in BHD looks so cool I'm willing to excuse their 'docileness' (is that a word? lol).

*Cough Cough* Ok BHD is nice and pretty but authentic? Look how there is 5 militia standing in open ground and 6 Rangers are shooting at them, 1 with a SAW, none are hit and all manage to fire off a few rounds and get into cover. On the other extreme there is rangers using semi hitting targets while standing, just after running a few hundred metres, at ranges up to 100 metres... Also the RPG seemed quite docile, the Rangers could quite easily  dodge them, as well as the Blackhawk that was hovering with two static fast ropes, in a very hot climate and several rangers aboard. Authentic is not something hollywood does... When I said "authentic" I was referring to the equipment, weapons, uniforms, and the like. But even so, having read the book 3 times and looking up pretty much everything I could find on the battle I maintain that BHD is the most accurate war film "based on actual events", despite the little nitpickings people like you love to waste time finding.

That is urban MARPAT....funny how 'urban' camo works better in a snowy forest than a downtown intersection. I really dont understand the whole urban camo thing myself, MOUT is all about cover and concealment. Camo might help a bit, but it's really not a deciding factor like it is in the desert or jungle or some such. EDIT: @InQUisiToR: OMG that is beautiful!

I agree that there is a major 1st person noise problem with user made aircraft. The RAD F-18 for instance has a beautiful realistic sound, but you get that same eardrum splitting noise in the cockpit! Now, having flown in a fighter (F-4 Wild Weasel a few years ago at an airshow) before it is surprisingly quiet in the cockpit, especially when you have your helmet on. I can't say how loud it is inside of a chopper as I've never ridden in a military style (as in doors open) one, but I would imagine the ride is reasonably quiet for the pilots given their headsets and all. But anyway, the first person noise level for alot of these user aircraft needs to be lower, especially the jets. Having different 1st/3rd person sounds (is that possible?) would be even better. Remember BHD, for instance? The Black Hawks were nice and loud on the outside shots, but inside you heard a humming noise and lower volume rotor sound. Now once again I cant say if that's realistic or not as I've never rode in a Black Hawk but BHD is arguably the most authentic war film around, so I'd say it's a safe bet that's the case.

I think there might be a major bug with the Seahawks (at least the version in the USN pack). When I launch a missile/torpedo, the explosion harms me. At first I thought it was just because I was too close to the explosion (and I was pretty near) so the next time I made sure I was a good 200 meters away from the Penguin/Hellfire's point of impact, the explosion still caused damage to my bird. Now I dont know if this is something wrong with the Hawks or if the missiles are just WAY too powerful, but it's buggin the shit out of me.

They dont have it on their site anymore, it was the first place I checked. In fact, the modmakers dont have it period. They got rid of it because it's so old. I know somebody has to have it though, it was widely distributed and alot of peoples downloaded it. I'm hoping that one of those peoples is on here and can upload it somewhere or send it to me. If after goin through all this trouble looking for this mod just for one unit and it turns out not to be in there, I'm gonna be pretty pissed.

I'm referring to the Desert Storm mod demo that was released a long time ago, not the BIS demo. I heard there was a USMC UH-1N Huey in there (which I desperately want) but I cant find the damned thing! Thanks anyway, though.

I'm searching for the old Gulf War Crisis demo like a madman cause I heard it has a halfway decent UH-1N in it. Is that true? Does anyone have it or know where I can find it? I found a working link on some Russian site but the 11 MB .exe file doesn't work, says "Program too big to fit in memory". Thanks in advance.
